Fear of the Unknown...

FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN

Change is Sometimes Necessary

Some People Will Continue On The Same Destructive Path, Doing The Same Harmful Behavior, Following It To Insanity or Death Rather Than Change...

Despite the fact that many live turbulent, chaotic lives, we refuse to like change. We fight it, rather than accept it. And we never accept it willingly. This causes us to seek our security in familiar places, & do the same things, rather than reach out to the unknown that lies ahead.

This may not be true security tho, as familiar places & situations also change. ' Familiarity also breeds contempt,' Our resistance to change may be sparked fear of trying something new, the fear of failure, or even the fear of success.

If we find that fear of change is causing us to put up with unsatisfactory & unhappy situations or circumstances, something that is overdue for change, we need to adjust our attitude toward it. While change may be viewed as risky, it could well be the necessary route for improvement. Let us start by being really honest with ourselves. Then we become willing to accept the idea that change is necessary. After that, we can ask & expect our Higher Power to guide us to the new situations that are right for us. ( But we must listen closely !! )

Today I DO NOT find myself fearing change. Looking closely at life, I realize that nothing ever stays the same, and that only change can bring the good I am now seeking. I seek now, the Higher Good, the Truer Good.
