Dear MOM8052, I like your type of politics whereby you, apparently, v**e for the person - not the party. I would like to point out two observations that I have observed. (1) The Democrat Party of today is not the same as it was when Jack Kennedy ran for president on the Democrat ticket as they have gone so far Left. In fact, I don't think that Mr. Kennedy would even be allowed to run as a Democrat today because he would be too conservative for today's Democrat Party!! Just "Google" some of his speaks and the speak he made when he accepted the office of President. You will see a vast difference between where he stood and where the Democrat Party stands today!! (2) There are those who will v**e Democrat - or Republican - no matter who is on the respective ticket. I have meet people who are just like my late father-in-law who was born an raised deep in Mississippi. He was born a Democrat, raised a Democrat, lived a Democrat and would only v**e Democrat - even if he didn't like the Democrat nominee. Being that I am basically a conservative - but I v**e for the person, not the party, the relationship between my father-in-law and I was not overly "warm". One p**********l e******n period, I asked him who he'd v**e for if Jesus Christ was on the Republican ticket and Satan as on the Democrat ticket. He just glared at me and stomped out of the room. Wrong question, I guest.

Good morning, Mom! Seems funny - it's the first time in my life I have called anyone "Mom", and I am 74 years young! Welcome to 1PP!

I love your state, especially the western part of it. My hubby and I used to camp in the Burro Mountains out of Silver City every summer. Some of our camping friends eventually moved to Silver City and Deming.

I didn't grow up with politics - my family didn't participate. As an adult I began my political life as a Republican - was a loyal member for 50 years. Finally couldn't tolerate the Party any more - it no longer represented me, much as I suspect the Democrat Party doesn't represent you. I looked for a Party that reflected MY values, and the closest I could come was the Libertarian Party. I v**e strictly for the candidate who most cherishes individual freedoms. One proposing new laws, I run from as fast as I can go. Laws denote CONTROL, and we are too controlled as it is. We already have about 3 tons of federal laws - and aren't they doing us a LOT of GOOD :!: :?:  :!: :?:

It doesn't matter what lies a man tells to get elected once elected he is going to do what his party tells him so when you v**e for the person that tells the best sounding lies you are a fool, look at the lies obozo told never once uttering a single t***h

You are so right, fool me once.....you won't fool me twice. However, look how many were fooled a second time. It is so sad.

Apparently many of those who v**ed twice for "Lead from Behind" where still waiting for all of those "free-bees" they thought that they were to get the first time. Do you suppose that they would v**e for him if there was a third time????
