Yeah I love to sit on my ass all day long and do nothing but watch TV and play video games or hunt and fish when its seasonal.

However I really h**e the thought of having to eat out of the hand of government like an obedient dog. I'm not a dog. My Scots/Irish blood says so.

I am one of the very few among my peers who take p***e in paying their own way that way I rely on my own devices and not off the backs of others.

I weep for the species.

It is a good program when needed by a few. Nice to know if we have no income, no job, we are still able to eat. However, this program (like many others) are being abused and the tax payers are paying the ones who suffer.

I was raised to believe that a hand up is not the same as a hand out. Everyone at some time in their lives needs help, this is different than making it a life style that is generational. Government programs has promulgated an entitlement mentality. Perhaps I am too stiff necked and inflexible, but I was raised on hard work ends in just rewards.

In the end, I agree with you that this safety net is necessary and it should be temporary help for those who need it.

Thank you so much. I saw part of this on Fox and I will add this to my collection. Fox is doing a week long coverage on fraud, waste, and abuse in the welfare systems.

When any of us bring any of this to the leaners they all say essentially the same thing in their attacks on the messenger. Most of them never say anything about messages but they do try to make lots of noise and they will be excited enough to go crazy after this week on Fox gets to them.

Just an absolute disgrace. Looking forward to seeing this discussed on Fox, but in all actuality, nothing will change. This country is going to hell in a hand basket. It should've started a generation before, however the parents of this, and future generations better get their act together, or that 47% will grow exponentially, sad but true. It starts at home!
