What is wrong with this Government?

Let’s start with the objective of the Founders. Their writings are populated with quotes like this one from John Adams, “I believe there is no one principle which predominates in human nature so much in every stage of life, from cradle to the grave, in males and females, old and young, black and white, rich and poor, high and low, as the passion for superiority.” “R*******n against tyrants is obedience to God” said Ben Franklin. And Tom Jefferson said, “I have sworn upon the alter of God, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the minds of man.”
It is apparent that they were concerned about tyrants and being controlled. So, what is a tyrant? What does a tyrant need? There are 4 Powers needed by any enterprise if it is to be a success. The four powers are: The Power to hire sk**led people, Authority to buy Materials, The ability to pay your bills, and you have got to have a Plan.
Article one; Sec 7 Paragraph 3 says the Legislative Powers contain Ordering as in Commanding, V****g which is decision making, and Resolving which is institutional memory. I believe that those three constitute the thought process. The power to think, for the entire government, is given to Congress.
Article one; Sec 6 Paragraph 2 says that those that have Legislative Powers are not allowed to hold office in the Executive Branch. So, all Executive Powers reside with the President however Congress has the Power to Think, so the President doesn’t.
Article one; Sec 7, Paragraph 1 says that Congress also gets the Power to send out Bills to raise revenue. Congress can stuff the Treasury by collecting Accounts Receivable for services rendered. You have the ability to pay our bills.
Amendment 16 says that the Federal Government can support itself by taking a direct draw from the circulation of wealth in the Economy. That is one Power of Congress. Your agent is the Internal Revenue Service, and why you let them act like that I don’t know. My Banker’s Tax is Better
So Congress gathers in the Money and Congress’s other Power (Order, V**e and Resolve) is the thought process. Congress has the “Super Vision”, and they have the Money. You Congressmen get to make all of the plans. The President does not have that power. He can’t plan or pay. Congress is not supposed to touch Spending or Hiring, and the President is not supposed to set Tax Rates or direct outcomes. He is to obey you, and you can’t do anything without him.
The President Hires the Talent and Buys the Materials that are needed to follow the Orders from Congress. It is all very friendly. The two branches together equal one Government.
Please ask the Court to make this adjustment.

And this from the guy that agreed with the superiority of w****s, but not just w****s but property owning w****s, in the Declaration of Independence. Women, B****s, Natives, and non-property-owning w****s be damned.

"R*******n against tyrants" at that time meant a threat of higher profits to the privileged property-owning class, who worked tirelesly to incite the common folk, without their rights and privileges, to protect their interest.

Still hitting the bottle again? What was that about you being a recovering alcoholic? Me thinks you've relapsed and still reading that revisionist garbage.

Keep boozing it up, rummy, and let the adults do the talking m'kay?

Lol, a toast. Raise your IQs to history minus Bachman and that ilk. We will start with a question: did the Declaration of Independence, which stated that all men are created equal, include B****s, Native Americans, and non-property-owning w****s (it said "all men" so of course women were not included)? "Revisionist garbage" is Bachman stating that the "Founding Fathers worked tirelessly to free the s***es." Too funny.

An unfiltered view of early America before the r*******n is only for scholars, who, it appears, have the intellectual detachment not to object or be offended. It is natural to like and defend those we consider as heroes and find anyone who questions or disagrees as a "revisionist." It is an emotional point. Tell me that my older brother was anything but perfect would have me in arms.

I am hitting the bottle again; good observation. Really love milk.

Oh, more “conservative” quotes given without a source and taken from the internet without documentation- meaning most are bogus.

I will tell you what is wrong with this government in words a child can understand.
1. It is bloated, overextended for ONE purpose: power and control
2. It is comprised of unprincipled people, v**ed in by unprincipled v**ers, and therefore most of its actions are unprincipled and dangerous to the average American.
3. It has assumed the mantle of "Supreme Being", when in fact it can't compete intelligence-wise with teeny boppers who, like the Senators and Presidents, haven't a clue about the US Constitution.
4. A good part of this problem is the direct result of socialist influence within the government and its active attempts to control every meaningful thing in America, and this is ludicrous because they cannot even control their own selves, let alone a nation.
5. Allied with # 4 and with the PC mania is the almost total loss of integrity and honesty within government.
6. The only solution to it and to its determination to break all of us financially is for the states to set the federal budget based on what money the states send the feds with the orders that not a penny more than is sent is to be spent unless it comes from the officials' pockets who spend it. IOW, the Congress and the President should lose the right to determine what is and is not spent AND on what it is spent.
The federal government should not be allowed to dictate a single thing that citizens can or cannot do. Its interaction should be with the states and with other nations, NOT its citizens.
7. Illiterate v**ers should not exist - everyone should have to be able to answer a couple of civics questions before being handed a b****t........at present the most ignorant in the land are setting the stage for the more intelligent. Atlas is shrugging as we speak.
8. Our government cannot control itself - and it has no business, no authority, no right to try to control us or private enterprise.

Those issues comprise the tip of the incompetent and evil berg that is the US government and it is past time to put a stop to it.

Right on as always Tasine another exquisite post. Oh to go back to the time when the federal officials had p***e in our country instead of h**e. The time when they cared to listen to us instead of dictating to us. The time when laws and rules applied to all. The time when we had people with a moral backbone as James Stewart portrayed in Mr. Smith goes to Washington. My late wife was an old movie fan and I don't know how many times that I watched that movie with her. And yes we do need to go back and re implement some of the rulings back then and get our country back on track. I would h ave no problem with property owners and those working for a living and paying taxes doing the v****g because if that were the case all of the make believe Santa Clauses in office would be v**ed out.

It truly IS amazing how the Hollywood world has done a 180, isn't it? I think the change came when Joe McCarthy was weeding out c*******ts. And that's too bad, because McCarthy was on the trail of those who created most of today's problems. Hollywood COULD have been the HERO in all of this, but it chose instead to bawl and wimp around and become as truly stupid as people can become. I've boycotted Hollywood for going on 40 years, and will until either I die or they change.

Chances are we will die before they change. The days of good family films and wholesomeness is long gone from most of the Hollywood elite. They are the ones that brought us the q***r revolution, the sexual revolution and the OIllegal revolution. They also are the ones that preach it is always the w****s fault and it is the w****s that are r****t. I don't think I have been to a movie theater since we took the grand kids to an animated show way before my late wife ever got sick and they were small then.

If the founding fathers were not working to abolish s***ery, why were the northern states free of s***ery by the very early 1800's? Why was the federal government limiting s***ery in new states? Read your history books!

Let me answer your title question? Somebody in the Executive Branch has failed to study the Constitution as diligently as you have and is working to ease the Congress out of our government. That means that getting around the Constitution and the Congress is what they are aiming at, each and every day.

Thanks, for the good job of reading the Constitution. It is too bad that our AG and President haven't done so except in trying to get around the Congress.

My take-away is somewhat different than yours: I don't think the executive is grabbing power as much as the legislature is giving it away. The inability of Congress to get anything done just begs for the power vacuum to be filled. I think this has been going on for several administrations.
