In days of pr********n(for Jesus Christ comes back) cars will be raging (road rage) in the streets. they will justle against one another in the broad ways( wide highways, wrecking). They will have torches(headlights) and run like lighting(fast). Tid bit, anybody interested. If you are I can show in the Bible other modern machinery predicted, the last days that are here now, such as helicopter, airplanes and so on. call me a nut if you like, but they are here.

I don't know what scripture you are reading but if you want to post book, chapter and verse I will be glad to look them up and see if I have the same interpretation as you.

That is a very good post and could well be interpreted that way. I am looking for the coming of the Lord and it may well be in my lifetime as I see certain things happening in my life that others may laugh and scoff at but to me they mean that the Lord is returning soon. Keep up the good work.

I have heard this before. When I was a child my uncle read it some where in the bible. I have never been able to locate it myself in the bible.

I have taken several prophecy classes in the past and I believe if my memory serves me correctly there are chapters in Isiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, and Ezekiel in the old testament and Mathew, Luke, Romans, Hebrews and Revelation. There may be more or I may have some in there that shouldn't be there but as I remember there were a lot of the chapters that I hadn't even considered in the beginning. I was also wondering what everyone's take is on Nostradamus and his prophecies. I personally don't rate them very high because of the gyrations that they have to go through to prove there thought process regarding the prophecy but some of them are fairly clear.

Nahum, is not a future prediction about the second coming of Christ. Where are you getting this idea from?

I'm afraid you are reading something into the actual meaning of the scriptures. ( like so many do).
Sorry, no offense intended.

I don't like to type so here,

Nostradamus, Astrology, and Palm Reading are all amazingly accurate...by subjective interpretation and wishful thinking. Is the Scripture noted about cars? Maybe, maybe not. Is that somehow pertinent to the messsage of love for our enemy widely ignored by the majority of Christians preaching from the pulpit, blog, threads, TV, and other media sources h**e toward the president, liberals (such as someone suggesting a liberal is defined by a dedication to ens***e people to entitlement programs), gays, Muslims, and immigrants?

Bruce, it has to be talking about the future. Char**ts raging, fast like lighting. On the wide broad ways. I just thought this was kind of interesting, that's all. I didn't mean that a person has to believe this to be redeem. I'll guess I'll just put my worms back in the can and go home. Good grief, I didn't know I would be called a fortune teller. Where Do some of you people come from.

ha! Sorry, but, you're putting words in my mouth. Nahum is referring to the future alright but it's is the future of the city Nineveh.
You must interpret the scriptures in the context to what they are referring.
It's easy to read into them. That's why we have so many denominations today. Everyone interprets the Bible in their own way.
Instead of getting butt hurt, the appropriate response should have been, oh let's see... Thank You for clearing that up.

Bruce, take it easy. Didn't I say, I was probably opening a can of worms. I never saw any char**ts as fast as lighting in that city. I just wanted to get people digging into the Bible

No time to start and no desire to argue with you. It is not worth it.
