If you are mathematician enough to understand what this article says you may want to make less money after January 1, 2014.

Big insurance companies are scurrying away from exchanges and people are finally seeing so many things in Obamacare that Nasty Nancy Pelosi didn't want people to see. It appears to me that as more and more is found in the thing the more people who are wakening to what will happen to them.

Now we know why the congress and senate wanted out as well as all of the other federal workers in Washington. They can't afford the ACA so they had the taxpayers chip in to help them out and pay not only their share but Washington's as well. Well America bend over grab your knees and kiss your ass
good-bye. We had better wake up and realize that if this is left on books it will never be repealed it will be the same as medicare, medicaid, and the drug program for seniors as well as the food stamp program, welfare checks, housing subsidies OIllegal phones and all of the rest of the government programs. It will just be one more road to hell sponsored by the democrats who are trying to destroy America with their progressive socialist ideas.

The really saddest part of this one is that people will have to take less in salary than they could make without Obamacare. He keeps telling us it will help so many people but I fail to see how it does that and sure enough those two people are middle class but won't be if this goes into effect unless they take pay cuts. How in the hell can leaners support this kind of thing?

Sorry to disagree. If fox news says it, it does not settle the issue for me. I prefer to learn about current world and national issues from various subjective opinions before jumping to conclusions and acting like the ignorant fox news fools labeled fox news contributors. I would never admitt that I nor the students I teach to learn critical thinking and problem solving sk**ls needed for their future success. Is it worth the dumbing down of America for lazy polititians and corporate

I don't know I know this ACA plan has put many on part time where before they were full time and able to make a living now they have to go out and try to find another job just to make ends meet. Then after and if they find another job they still have to go to an exchange and buy their health insurance if they want to be legal that is. That health insurance is going to be so damn high that most individuals will gamble and pay the fine which will keep going up every year. At that point we will be like Russia in it's hey day where the workers don't give a damn and they go out in the morning and buy their vodka and proceed to get drunk. Basically we will have a booming homeless welfare society looming on the horizon. It is going to take someone with balls to turn this around. I would like to try most all of the senate and most all of the congress for treason on just this alone.

Well now, TraceyAnne you need to look at facts and maybe take a chance on watching Fox shows and then getting the words from Media Matters instead of taking the words of MM before you see something on Fox. Yes, sweety, I know you do get much, too much, of your info from that site.

P.s. As a rhetoric and speech scholar I tend to prefer debate with a bit less vulgar vocabulary and a bit more intelligent minde one.

Which subjective opinions do you feel are acceptable for your various world and national issues. Obviously you do have proffered choices that you yourself trust and are comfortable with. Are you more comfortable with internet sources or do you use various TV sources as well and if so which ones? I am curious what is being taught in school these days and what they are being encouraged to watch for the t***h on world and national news.

Sorry Roy, I don't know what media matters is. I am constantly exposed to fox news and its affiliates. I was raised on it with Rush as I helped my father start and built a multi-national, multi-million manufacturing business since 1977. I am college educated and grew up in an upper class society. I have also done volunteer work since the 6th grade and am closely familiar with both sides of the tracks. I have three successful and working adult children. The most important thing I attempted to instill in them was compassion, mercy and grace for all regardless of race, class, sex, religion or socio economic class. They were exposed to both side of the tracks and everything in between. Country clubs, and cruises to free food banks and drug addicts. They each have served . It is much easier to understand the t***h when you have walked a mile in their shoes.

"Ignorant Fox News fools labeled Fox News contributors", seems more vulgar than oldroys response. You think. Sorry bahmer. I meant to respond to tracyannes' reply to oldroy.

Bahmer, I have found learning much more effective when a student experiences or relates to information and can find a way to relate to it personally or through activies that will. Getting involved with different slices of society provides an excellent forum for learning. I have yaight headstart through post high school vocational students, both public and private, religous and secular, urban and suburban, learning and developementally disabled, classroom and private tutoring.

This is great for learning about each other and what did or did not put them in the situation that they are in as to their station in life and their aspirations etc. I have no problem with bringing school kids to learn about society this way either as long as it can be done in a safe and sane manner. But my question still remains as to which sources do you go to for your world national news and which sources do you recommend. I would guess that the views gleaned from the people in a homeless shelter or soup kitchen can give a perspective a particular individuals struggle with society but by no means is it to be a standard for everybody anymore than interviewing successful people would be.
