Pipeline Across Canada Could Re-order Oil Markets
A $12 billion oil pipeline east from Alberta to the Atlantic could change the course of the Canadian economy and is likely to be approved despite strident opposition from environmentalists. The pipeline has the potential to alter Canadian trade patterns — increasing energy exports to India and China — and will broadly benefit the economy by promising energy independence.

[color=red]While a pipe line from Canada down the middle of the U.S. to Texas refineries is being constrained by OIllegal in support of his attack on the capitalism and the U.S. We have a t*****r for a president folks. Just sayin.

OIllegal is destroying America on every front, from energy to r****m, you name it and this community disorganizer is dividing us and pitting one side against the other. He is in favor of every minority no matter how small the percentage. We used to be majority rule and we have turned into minority rule. We used to do what was right and just for America and now we are trying our very best to destroy it why?

Quid Pro Quo, bahmer: Why? Because he is a Marxist/Muslim usurper bent on our destruction and capitalism destruction.

Wait and see what he's trying to sell the Senate and the American people with signing on with the UN treaties. Yes plural Treaties. UN taxes, UN control of oil, water, guns and more.

We might have civil war before the midterm e******ns and I bet that he would love to claim marshal law before the e******ns so no one could impeach him before his term is up. You have to watch your back, front, and both sides around this devious dirt bag.

I read an article a couple of weeks ago, that stated just one of our northwest states(forget which one was stated) but, it alone has more oil than the whole Middle East, combined. It would take about 10 years to get it up and running(jobs), but eventually it would reduce the national gas price average to about 27 cents, per gallon. Now that there would most assuredly improve our economy, I would think. It also said that it is believed that all that oil, and then some, was being reserved for WW III, if that were ever to happen. Sounds crazy to me since it would take 10 years to get it up and running!!!

Just my two cents.

Economics 101 why is it profitable to get that oil out of N.Dakota and Canadian shale ? Because oil is fetching over $100 a barrel . If oil were drop in price to about $38 a barrel or less , there would be no more exploitation of oil from the shale .
In order for anyone to be paying $ 0.27 a gallon , that's about what the price per barrel would have to be .
Now rethink and connect the dots .

I believe that that is truly what he is striving for. Then he can bring in UN foreign troops. Call me crazy, but I hope I'm wrong.

Yes having a pipeline through the middle of u=your state seem ok until it springs a leak and all hell breaks loose and if the Canadians want to build it across Canada let them we will still get the oil and a lot less risk and it isn't just Obama against it there are a lot of other people against it also

It looks like we are gathering tree huger's in this discussion. Now we are worried about pipe breaking. I wonder how many millions of miles of pipe is underground in this great country and how often if ever it breaks. I know there are pipe lines in IL and just about every state in the union but for some reason the only one that is going to break is the keystone pipeline.

Nice attempt at deflection, Lou. Now explain what you were deflecting from and to where. Can't, can you?
