In WA we v**ed in an initiative that all the TV ads said would prevent unauthorized guns from being used by "expanding background checks" on gun buyers. The problem with each and every "gun law" on the books or being proposed is that they only affect law abiding gun owners. Criminals are criminals because they don't pay any attention to laws! In this case I guess we need I-595 next time in order to control knife buyers.

I am sitting in front of two Weapon's Safe. A total of 39 Long Guns, 23 Handguns. I do this once in awhile. Observing them. So far. they have not moved yet. They have not attacked anyone innocent yet. Seems they are minding themselves very very well. I see no reason what so ever for a "law" to try to make my Weapons be "controlled" as they seem to be doing rather nicely all on their own!

I-594 was/is a gun control law. ipso facto the next number law, to control knives, would be I-595. No?

I don't think many of the left lean can understand what you have said here, but I surely do appreciate you saying it. The t***h does usually affect them as they don't like to see it.

I just posted a thread about our military and what is happening to it and have to think that it is the same thing as what you said about "gun control". Once they have all our guns they can keep us under better control although that means only that without guns we would have to deal with government people who come after anything else we have with our bare hands. Going to a gun fight with bare hands seems pretty stupid to me. S***ery is where THEY really want us.

What the lunatic fringe fails to realize is that any & all so-called "gun control" laws don't affect the people whom we WANT to not have guns. They only affect us law abiding, target shooting, deer hunting, duck & pheasant h****rs who are not causing any problems anyway!!! I no longer hunt. The 2nd is to insure the 1st. I have guns to protect myself from enemies foreign and domestic.

Some people are "do gooders" they have the need to do. Without enough intelligence to understand you cannot regulate the criminal. Look at the governments we have that usurp our power and the "do gooders" are diverted. Men want to regulate a woman's body. S**t! exchange a right for a privileged. S**t! 2nd hand smoke is a you problem. The solution is to mind your own business, abide by the DofC and Constitutions originals.

The current Federal Administration wants to ban ammunition and prevent banks from doing business with gun and ammunition manufacturers. "Operation Chokepoint," is the name they picked for that. Another move gaining strength in the Liberal Lunatic Fringe is making it a law that if you have a gun in the house it must be unloaded, kept in a safe and have a trigger lock installed on it. As you hear the crash of your back door being broken through by the home invaders, grab your baseball bat.
