Many are right about Capitalism working great. That is the problem we are having. It is just working to good for the few.
More & more people are being left out of the game.

If you have more you deserve more. If you have less you deserve less.

It works great if you are are getting a profit by getting more than you are putting in. You don't do as well if you end up getting payed less for more work.

But there are many here on this site that think that it is just the way to go.

So I say if you feel that the money changers getting more for having more then wanting more on top of is great.

I ask that perhaps if that is so, then soon more that believe that will be joining the undeserving masses.

Capitalism is better than s***ery be cause they don't have to see that the workers get paid enough to buy what they produce.

All one need do is see that their money gets a profit.

I would say that if some one gets more out of something than they put in there is some one else that gets less than they but in.

Please explain to me how you do in this game.

I say to you that many of you feel that you are getting less than you deserve & feel that many with less are getting more than they deserve.

Just where is that dividing line & who is drawing it.

I would like to think I am a bit over that line but the line is moving up & I don't have much of a cushion.

Your comments assume a zero sum game, which is not the case. The fact that I invest time and energy and direct it in a direction that will yield good results does not take away from you doing the same. My success does not prevent you from being successful. Whether you achieve the same results is less about the pot being of limited rewards, but that one of the many variables caused you to miss the mark.

Capitalism may not be perfect, but it beats the alternatives. In theory, Socialism has the attraction of everyone working for the common good and sharing in the rewards. But if you are willing to learn twice as much, have the ability to think more clearly, have a willingness to work longer and harder, why should you take home the same as the slacker next to you (each according to his abilities) - or even less if your family is smaller or you aren't as demanding (each according to his needs)? With C*******m, all are supposed to be equal... how many in Russia had the same number of dachas as the Politburo leaders?

When the rich use the influence and power of their gains to unfairly acquire more, then they are corrupting Capitalism. When the government interferes with trade, assesses taxes (which leads to "tax benefits" which are used to redirect economic resources), they are perverting Capitalism. Your complaints about Capitalism are misdirected as you are blaming the idea, when it is outside forces that are causing it to deviate from its intended course.

Capitolism in order to be successful needs to be well and intelligently regulated. In any competition you need rules and to demand that the rules are followed. An honest person can not compete with someone who is willing to employ s***e labor or sell stolen goods pump untreated waste into waterways or foul smoke into the air. Regulation of buisness sets a minimum standard under which everyone must opperate. We have swung too far away from reasonable regulation and holding corporations accountable, and working people are fed up.

You can use any of the definitions that you have heard of or learned in
economics, but the fact remains that there is a little less m oney in Americabut there is still a lot. The difference is that the wealthy are collecting the money because the American people are not working and
earning a wage. Our products now contain the label, made in China or
some other remote place. Many of these foreign businesses are owned by
American businessmen who are part of the wealthy. The cost is much less
because the foreign wages are so low. Nevertheless, the product still sells
for the same price although the businessman makes more profit. The real
question of where we are going is clear. Corporations used regulations to
increase their profits and helped the government to make it much more difficult to make a decent living. The solution is not to buy the cheapened
products and start our own manufacturing to make the products we need
at prices we can afford. Until we do this, it looks like we will continue the
downward spiral until America is completely devastated.

Capitalism in and of itself is not the main problem. It's honesty and integrity which is the underlying problem with mankind in general and has been since the beginning. If these 2 things were followed capitalism would work just fine. The entrepreneurial spirit is crushed under other systems and is why our creeping socialism and f*****m is slowly crushing this country.

I as an individual live & support as much of our economic system as any.

When I say that Capitalism is working to well I mean the wealth is ending up in to few hands & that wealth is being used to make the system work better for the few.

I say when we look at how an economic system works it is how well most people do with in the system.

So I say look around & do you see that there are more people living a better life & having a share in the increased wealth or are more & more people living a the the edge of poverty?

Just how much of the economic actions taking place in the world today reward money over labor.

I ask of people who feel that the system as it is today is the system they wish to continue on its path.

I ask if they are in looking to sell to the general public how does it help their bottom line if the bankers get more & there is less money in the hands of those that buy their product.

Listen to what many on this site who blame the poor that have no means to buy the goods & services produced by the middle are a drain on the economy.

While the profits end up in fewer hands.

So I say where does the line stand that seems to says some may profit & some don't & who controls that line.

How much of our soul must we sell to the man that controls the money for our little gain?

There is no doubt in my mind that my safety & well being is dependent the safety & well being of those around me. In the world today that includes most of the world.

In a world where the well being of the few out weights the well being of the many. There is a need to slow down or reverse the trend.

So I speak to those that enjoy the fruits of the system to see that changes are made to ease the burden on the masses or see the world around us become over run with those that would use less that desirable means of getting their way.

I agree that capitalism is our best option. It's just sad that crony capitalism, politicians, and dishonest people have made it a lot less than it could be. Some corps have become so powerful that as they say absolute power corrupts. They may not have absolute power yet but they think they do and few seem to try and stop them. Some of them along with world banks and other orgs have their sights set on ruling the world.Maybe they already do.
