And we're only halfway through. This is a long read but has many facts regarding shootings by police officers that would be good to know. One thing it says to me is that police in general need a lot more training and practice in confrontational situations. In one case an order was given and then shots fired before any reasonable person could have acted on the order. "Drop it or you're dead Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang Bang!"

Yep, with every gun law known to man on the books there, this is still happening. Archie Bunker on the old, "All in the Family Show," told his son in law that the way to stop all the airline hijackings was to give every man, woman and child over 16 a loaded .45 as they boarded the plane and collect them again when the people got off. "Even a hijacker knows better than to go up against odds like that." Maybe the solution here is to give every man, woman & child over 16 a gun in Chicago and show them how to use it. The drive by gang bangers might start thinking twice if they knew that anyone they shoot at is probably going to shoot back!!
