I maintain that minimum wage laws coupled with oppressive work laws and unions are the exact causes of people losing jobs, of businesses moving overseas, of high prices.

I maintain if we could find a way to prevent government intervention in the workplace, and if we could find some honest and honorable people to serve in government, most of our problems would disappear. I don't maintain it, I promise it.

I agree if we let capitalism spread its mighty wings unimpeded by the government the flight would be both majestic and awesome as our country would literally rocket back to life. If we could also get rid of the Marxist, socialist, welfare mentality and back to putting God back in our country this country would again become the blessing to the world that it was meant to be. But it will have to be at a fight because Lucifer will not let go easily as he has come to far to give up without a fight.

Because that's the socialist, "bleeding heart liberal" way to "buy" more v**es and keep them in power.

Very well said.

I would add that wages are private business agreements between employees and employers, entered into voluntarily by all concerned.
Government has no constitutional authority to meddle in those private business agreements.

So true - but then, government has no constitutional authority to meddle in most of the things it meddles in. It has merely stolen that authority from states, counties, cities, and individuals and forces its power upon all of us under threat of jail, fines, lawsuits, confiscation of property, etc - and we let them get away with this blackmail.

Unfortunately fighting the government costs big bucks and they know that and they also have these high priced lawyers on their payroll or retainers to fight against the citizens of this country. If there was a way that we could think of aside from out right refusing and ending up in jail with great big fines h*****g over our heads I do imagine there would be more descent among the American People. This also goes along with the liberal appointed judges across our land as well. The government plays the boardwalk game in which you are allowed to get a small portion of money if you land on all of the right places and keep your nose clean you can pass go and collect your paltry $200.00. If you are unfortunate enough to land on any of the government owned property which is everything else your literally screwed.
