Manning is in jail because the government despises to have its crimes put on display for the v****g public to see. In my view, if he didn't aid and abet the enemy, he is innocent. Justice is NOT a major interest of the US government - if it were, we would occasionally see some of it, but we don't.

I appreciate those who have offered to serve some of his time for him as all of us have benefited from his actions, ditto with Snowden. They will not succeed, of course, but that will merely add to the animosity most Americans feel toward the people within our government. And it saddens me that the military is succumbing to the PC crap that the left DEMANDS be practiced.

In other words you approve of Manning and Snowden . Your animosity started when a blackman got elected then Re-elected , and has nothing to do with Snowden or manning . If Romney were President , you 'd be calling for their heads as would the rest of you Tea party alleged patriots .

Manning is in jail for giving away his country's classified material . That is a crime last time I looked .

That's not true with all Lou. I despise Bush just as much as I despise Obama. But, what I despise the most is having to view my own government as the enemy. They don't want us to view them in that way, and that's one of the reasons they are throwing such a fit about having this info released.

What is the basis for MY attitude? The basis for my attitude is that I know how governments and bureaucracies work, and when in trouble, practically without exception, they attempt to hide evidence, and just because Obama is your man, he isn't immune. Government has a built-in method of hiding its crimes - it's called "classified information". They've gotten away with it for years, one reason because they were reasonably intelligent how they used it. However, there no longer exists any reasonably intelligent people in government, dem or rep, left or right, educated or incredibly dumb, and NO honest ones. It takes a really stupid person to believe what the government puts out. If you choose to be stupid, that's your choice, but it does not fall into your job description to denigrate those who choose to pay attention and derive logical conclusions that you choose to not understand.

YES, the government I speak of is the Obama government because it is the most secretive, immoral, oppressive, intrusive government I have ever lived under. I could not care less were he black or blue or green. He and his entire Cabinet are beneath everyone I have ever known when it comes to character and integrity. I wouldn't have any of them in my home under any circumstances - they are vile and anti-American. It matters not how you "feel" about this administration.......the t***h is the t***h, and your denying it doesn't change it from the vile t***h it is.

Here's an example of the Neanderthal-like stupidity of the politicians people like you elect and suck up to -

Speaking at a town hall meeting earlier this month, Florida Republican congressman Ted Yoho promised that he would support possible birther legislation floated by Rep. Steve Stockman (R-TX), telling the crowd that after learning about a potential birther bill from Stockman while attending a Tea Party meeting, he called the congressman and agreed to back it.

While Yoho told the crowd that the issue of President Obama’s birth certificate was a “distraction” from topics like the national debt, he said he was hopeful that a birther investigation could bring down the whole government: “They said if it is true, it’s illegal, he shouldn’t be there and we can get rid of everything he’s done, and I said I agree with that.”

Yoho also seemed to embrace the right-wing claim that Obamacare is “r****t” because it taxes tanning beds, explaining that if he goes tanning then he will be “disenfranchised because I got taxed because of the color of my skin.”
