The Bismark's rudder was damaged by a torpedo from a dinky assed little WWI biplane, and she could only steam in a circle. Ironic, huh?

I h**e that the British couldn't have captured the Bismark and put it on display. I'd love to have the chance to tour it.

The Hood was the p***e of the British Navy. I doubt anything other than sinking was acceptable.
