My guess is there are a lot of carnivores here on OPP who will get a chuckle out of this one.

the chicken next door like tofu. If anyone ever offered the d********g substance to me, I would give it to the chickens immediately. don't feed it to your dog, most develop skin problems when eating tofu or any soy product.

Can't eat a taco without cilantro myself so make my own at home. To each their own. lol
Liked the tofu statement. All I've tasted just wasn't for me.
However. I confess to storing unflavored tvp ( textured vegetable pieces ) along with freeze dried peas. Emergency protein, ( plant ) and some fiber. Boil water, throw in the tvp and peas. Stir every 5 min. while cooling. Instant meal.

I was always told that tofu picked up the flavor of wh**ever it was cooked with. My experience has taught me that cooking anything with tofu, somehow turns the other food into doo doo. I thought only my guts could do that.
