Yesterday (5/24) on Harris Faulkner's FOX program Pat Caddell made what I think is a brilliant observation relative to the continued break-down of this country's identity: (Paraphrasing) "We have become a nation of two tribes where tribal identity trumps national unity.."
He was addressing the incredible continued support the Democrats are showing Hillary Clinton despite her disastrous public record. For those of us who are governed by logical thought and disciplined reasoning, Pat's comment should prove elucidating and provide us with some deeper understanding of what the enemy of this great nation really looks like. Identifying the enemy is the first step, right?
Anyhow, we have all been subjected to conditioning since grade school to think like tribal members (school sports programs, ball team allegiances, etc) so the 'tribalization' on a national scale just seems like a logical step however destructive, doesn't it?

Funny how you only mentioned the "disastrous" public record of Hillary Clinton, while failing to mention the truly disastrous record of Congress and the lack of any records for the clown car full of GOP morons running for President. The author did mention TWO tribes, did he not? Try posting something positive about your tribe of GOP clowns for a change....I'll be waiting.
Well '3Jack' unlike those of the disastrous liberal left, I like to single out individual problems, individuals, and deal with them one at a time. The mob think, the group think, and the refusal to acknowledge individuals actually exist does not smear my view, thus the reference to Hillary-the-Disaster.
Pat was just and only speaking of her.
If you are interested in my views of the disastrous representation presented us by today's congress, ask me about that. Meanwhile, think on the topic of tribal behavior as shown clearly by the foolhardy fixation of the die-hard Hillary worshipers. If it makes you discomfited, join the crowd.

No you aren't; for if you cannot recognize real virtue, real honesty, real experience and instead suck up to the conjurers from Obama's land of unicorns, you will never be able to appreciate anything anyone but a hard core progressive could offer.
Reality is not what you desire.. tribalism loyalty is about as far as you are about to climb on this trip, I think. Naturally, you might prove me wrong.

I didn't expect it from the likes of you, as you have nothing positive to say in support of your clown car candidates...you and your ilk have played yourselves into a deep hole and there is no escaping it....into total political irrelevancy.

Unfortunately, thanks to social media, tribalism goes far beyond
political factionalism. Just consider a social system where one
attains "power" (followers) simply because a number of people
read a posted opinion. We used to have a Civil Society based on
widely accepted absolutes; however imperfectly we individually
lived our beliefs, there was general societal agreement on the
moral value expressed. This more closely resembles pre-
Christian pagan society than a modern republic.

True, all true; beyond question. The only point I might wish to add would be that of the concept of lost civility might be better stressed. There have always been differences among folks, but it is the resurgence of the uncivil intolerance that is going to bring us to our knees and make easy prey of us for our sworn enemies. Enemies without and enemies within.

'Me my ilk..'- you know that's really hyperbolic and unfair. You insist on name-calling -"clown car"- and since I know you are letting others think for you, I understand, but--- really: Think about the actual qualifications for president of the United States of America and then reflect upon the nasty joke known worldwide as Obama... and his proposed successor. That should cause any adult with any inkling of national p***e real concern.
That proposed successor- - -Hillary- ever see the movie

I know you would like to think that Obama is disliked internationally, but in reality, that is not the case. Read this and bring yourself up to date:
http://globalpublicsquare.blogs.cnn.com/2014/07/16/how-the-world-sees-obama/He is only disliked by people like you who has failed to come to grips that the black man is still sitting in your White House. However you have about 18 more months to simmer in your hatred, as you can't do squat about it except b***h and moan.....so have at it.
Speaking of ground hog day, the first four years of Hillary repeated with another four should do the trick eh?
On 3jacks request, I have searched the cosmos for something good about all those GOP candidates..
I found something, irrefutable good..
With so many of them, they will never all fit on a single stage and we will not have to see or hear them all at one time..
Is that good or what....

Not bad, but not what I had in mind.

LOLOLOLOLOLOL.....Such bulls**t talk from someone who LIKES and SUPPORTS the two biggest liars that have ever been in D.C......HILLY B***H and OPUKO OBAMA...If your expectations of moral character, honesty, and experience to do the job are why you support these two BAFOONS...then your judgement is questionable at best....
