I remember every year. Not unlike millions of fellow American's I have lost family, friends and buddies to war. Like millions of other Americans my day Monday will start at the cemetery paying respects.
This is a difficult weekend for many and in particular war time veterans. I understand and it's been O K with me for years that the bulk of our citizens spend this time at the river, lakes or parks. They do not understand the pre-paid cost of their outing. I do hope that most would pause for a few heart beats and think.
Thanks for the posting. Remembering is the least we could do.

I feel guilty to say this, but forgive me Lord, I can't help but feel that those who start war for profit will find all their money cannot not buy them a drop of water in hell.

Saturday morning will bring a ride by from a small group from Rolling Thunder. They come every year.
I will be at The Wall, on Monday, delivering white roses at the foot of every single year represented.
