Most of you h**e Government and still somehow think of yourselves as patriots. You talk about secession, and still think of yourselves as patriots. You want to defy federal law, "nullification" legislation, and still think of yourselves as patriots. You want to tear this country apart, make it less than a Third World Nation, and you stupefyingly call yourself a patriot. I am not getting into the enormous stupidity it takes to hold many of your ironic beliefs and thoughts. If you do not see them, which is most apparent that you do not, then somehow this weak and skinny-looking Army guy deserves prison.

I don't think (my opinion) that there are many on this forum that "h**e" government. "H**e" is a stronger word than applies to how some people feel. "Frustrated", "disappointed", may be closer to the t***h. I don't "h**e" government, I know government is necessary and good to maintain order and support any "group" of diverse people. That being said, I am also "frustrated" and "disappointed" in the growing size of government and its' many intrusions into my life and economic situation. Just because it's the "government", it doesn't mean that it's always correct and in support of "the people". There are many times that "government" acts in direct opposition to the "good of the public". There are things that people in government do to enrich and improve
their lives, and the people don't have the same options.
Yes, many people criticize some of the things that the government does, but that is exactly what makes them patriots". Generally, when someone criticizes something, it's because they care, or at least is "paying attention". I believe there
is such a thing as
too much government, and having that opinion doesn't exclude me from being patriotic.
"Talking about secession" doesn't mean someone
isn't a patriot, because it is usually talked about as a way of showing dissatisfaction with the government. Even is a state or states supposedly seceded from the U.S., that state or states would still have a "government".
Some "Federal" laws
need to be defied, as we witnessed with "prohibition". In a country with so many citizens, not everyone is going to agree with everything the government does and says and
true patriots don't just sit back an allow the "government" to dictate "one size fits all" laws without expressing their opinions. This is especially true when people elect a person to represent them in government, and then that person does and says exactly the opposite of what they said they believed!
"Patriots"
do not want to tear this country apart! If you pay attention to what's going on right now, you'll find that our own current "government" has polarized this country more than anyone since the civil war. Our current "government" seems intent on lowering us to a "third world" status.
As far as "enormous stupidity" is concerned, in the military, "leaking" military information
has always been contrary to military standards. The sheer number of documents and reports he promulgated, tells me that he was not just trying to make a point, but cause a disruption in military order. I wouldn't call him a "t*****r" per se, but he needs to go to prison for a long time. The people in command need to be investigated and booted out or demoted, also. There
is supposed to be such a thing in the military as "security".
Sorry for the length of this post, but I feel this needs to be said.
