The new Republican budget framework would give the top 1/2 of 1% of the American people a 96 billion dollar tax break while throwing twentyseven million Americans off Obamacare. Thats just a start, it cuts deeply into every program that benefits the middle class and working poor.

Didn't even know there were 27 million on Obamacare, i guess those fines really worked, might help if some would pay in though.
Still waiting for either party to help the middle class, tell me how Obama has helped the middle class, all I've had to do is pay more taxes.
Making poor people dependant is not helping them, especially generation after generation of them.

Hey waker, You may be paying a lot more taxes. The GOP did away with the estate tax for the top .5% to the top 1%of the population's estate tax. We are not talking about John Boy's father unless he is a CEO of a major corporation.

Not saying your wrong but how many millionairs and billionaire s do you think die each year?
Your hypothetical numbers seem a bit scewed, last checked only 8 million people had it and six million were previously insured.
The one thing I know for sure, no matter what party the puppet in the whitehouse is, they're not the ones pulling the strings.

Is it right to tax some more than others

These numbers were on CNN, and were reported by the ranking Democrat on the House budget commitee. I'm not saying that he never lies, but he wouldn't do so on a national tv news show.

Really, why not?
People believe wh**ever they're told, especialy when seen on tv,
I'm just as guilty.
I'd fact check those number though.

Bringing jobs back to this country would help everyone but the 1%. Taking away tax breaks for the super elite would increase our budget. Since both parties are bought and paid for that won't happen. Paying a livable wage would help. That of course would hurt the bottom line for corporations. Corporations are posting billions in profit. The American people are living pay check to pay check and coming up short. What is wrong with this picture?

Why people continue to back this nonsense is beyond me. We have given more and more to the 1%. Our jobs are overseas. We in the middle class are taxed to pay for the rich and the poor. Now we take in immigrants, subsidize them so corporations can pay less and less and yet people still back the notion the elite will save us all. I think it is time for all us working tax payers to relocate to a country that will respect our hard work. Let the elite finance their life style for a change.

I believe it is right to tax more than others. Taxing 10% of a working poor persons income can really hurt his family. His children may not get enough to eat, he may have to live in a slum, his children will never get a chance to go to college unless they are super exceptional, and if you take away his insurance ( Obama Care) he and/or his family will not even have health care. It you tax a wealthy person 10%, he may have to wait six months to buy a new country estate. The preamble to the Constitution calls on the government to provide for the general welfare, thats the simplest way to do it..

Relocation might be nice, but I like the notion of taking our own country back and letting the elites relocate instead. ;)
Iceland did, if they can, so can we.

The problem I see is that the elites aren't even paying the 10%.
Too many tax exemptions for these rich bastards.
Perhaps a flat tax would set a level playing field, we all might be suprized just how much simply making everyone pay they're fare share would accomplish if spent properly.
I think Rand Paul is pushing for a flat tax, I know his father was, for this very reason.
Suddenly old Ron isnt looking so crazy these days.
Although I'm a Ben Carson guy, I look forward to seeing if Rand can break away from the hard Right and stick to his Libertarian roots.
