There are more options for all people on the Main Menu than you may have thought.

Do you see things in your New Topics that you wish that you could avoid? For example, let us say that you are not interested in all the confusion of arguments on current politics. Not that we would be here if we did not have an interest. But, let us say that you woke up and only want to see a devotional. On the main menu, there is a new section for faith. If you click on that, you can sort directly to all things on faith where you will find posts on all manner of faith based information that includes questions, devotion, request for prayer, or a book of the bible.....if someone decides to take on that job. I need to put a qualifier here, things will appear that were created under that section. So if you are posting your devotionals on Main, then it will not appear under Faith. It will still be under the Main Topics, but one will have to search for it. Often Admin will move topics from Main to Chit Chat or Chit Chat to Main. Now they will also move topics to Faith if they feel it has been assigned to the wrong category. So, go now and subscribe to Faith.

So let us say that you do not want to know what people believe and would just as soon not have that information displayed in your sections. You can subscribe or unsubscribe to a section by visiting your profile, midway down you will find a statement about subscribing, click on the "here" button, and the main menu will appear with an additional block near the sections, subscribe to those you want and unsubscribe to those that you have no interest.

On the main menu, there are other interesting areas. Have you ever wanted to keep one of your post or comment available to use again? There is a My Page area where you can create a file of things you want to keep. Let us say that you found a website that you go to often but you do not want to book mark it because you already have a ton of book marks, well you can make a list and copy that web address into a page. Now you have at your fingertip a list of websites that may be on Baltimore or Ferguson, or wh**ever you visit often. I have several pages with bookmarks, I have on page that is contains all the sites on Conspiracy and another on the Bible. Now you know how I can post a link so fast. At anytime you can click that bookmark and go directly back to that page. Even if that page is not on the google most trafficked search and has moved to page 80000, you no longer have to figure out if you are reaching the right spot. Like if you want a list of pages that contain jokes, or a list that has bible information, the sky is the limit. I use this area to compose long responses. It allows all the other functions to continue while you search for information and you can put your thoughts into order before you commit it to a reply. At times, I will get a critique and it may be upsetting. Instead of firing off a quick and biting or h**e filled comment, I will copy the comment with the link to this area. Do something else and calm down, and then come back and reply. I see it as a personal time out area.

And here is another. Let us say that you are following a discussion and someone says something that you want to refer to again or be able to quickly go to in a hurry. Use the Bookmark, now you do not have to search through you watched list or do a search. You have that topic and thread at a quick grab and go.

The Buddy List is a great tool. Let us say that you have found a person that you want to read every topic they produce, put them on your Buddy List and in the Newest Topic area, you can sort by clicking on From Buddies. Now you have a new sort that has only topics created by them. This list is also helpful when you are sending PMs. Let us say that you have a group of friends and you want to share something with just them, you can create a mass PM by using your Buddy List.

Thank you my friend. No I am not a one percenter. But, I do find it funny that he believes that I am. I am still POd that I paid twice the taxes that wonder boy in the White House paid... How does he get away with that?
