Beany's Drive-Thru, Long Bch. Ca--1952/53

I can recall this particular place quite vividly. If memory serves, it was on PCH west of the Traffic Circle in Long Beach, Ca. If I am in error, I am sure there are others who will remember Beany's and correct me.

I was not in Long Beach in 1952, nor was I quite old enough to remember such things...until a few years later in Central Texas, where the scenes were much the same. Enjoyed this video :!:

My father used to take me to Pirate's games at Forbe's Field in the 50's and outside of the park there was a hamburger stand that had great burgers smothered with sautéed onions for 25 cents. I never since had a hamburger taste so good. :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:
