Welcome to the forum, Milt!

I know sometimes we all feel like shouting from the rooftops that Larry, Moe and Curly could do a better job of running Washington than the motley bunch we have now, but for now, please turn off the caps.

I am on the same wavelength as you - I am pretty much disgusted. Sometimes I feel like throwing my hands up and say, "To hell with it all", but then those i***ts who are working to destroy what made this country great will win. I haven't given up yet.

There are times I go after the supporters of the reprobates which have dominated the workings of government in hopes some of what is said will sink in. I use statistics, history and common sense which many times is like explaining, in plain English, how to install Linux Mint on a PC to my dog.

There is always that small notion in the back of my mind that tells me what I have tried to convey will be remembered when this country hits rock bottom. This will be like an alcoholic refusing professional help until their lives crash and burn. There's no use wasting your efforts on someone like this as it will have to be done when they are ready to accept your words of wisdom.

Still, I remain of good cheer and try to be a respectable gentleman without overt insults, obscenities and derision. Some with an opposing view have shown intelligence and character in which we have "agreed to disagree' - a noble gesture between two honorable persons. Needless to say, this is a rarity as most on the Left like the name-calling and fact-free rants.

So, I hope you enjoy the forum as much as I do. There are many very thoughtful, witty and intelligent people here. You've come to the right place to vent your frustrations as we share many of them already.

Welcome aboard, CowboyMilt!! This is a good place to voice opinions and ask questions.

There are a goodly number on this forum that are totally disgusted with the way our nation is going and are pressing for change......that would be us conservatives. As long as a democrat is in charge, the democrats love everything that is done, even if it turns them into zombie s***es.

I've been battling l*****t policies and thinking since 1962, and have gotten nowhere, but I still check in every day and keep at it because the l*****t agenda is a k**ler and a destroyer of our nation. At this point they are succeeding, and if something isn't done soon to reverse the trend, we are going over the cliff. I for one welcome any thoughts you may have. ;-)

I'm Senior Pat from Glendale....that's Arizona. I am angry, worried and despise this arrogant, incompetent, dangerous creep who is laughingly called President. Not to me. I am glad my dear parents are not alive to witness the demise of our great country. They were extremely patriotic, exhibited our f**g every holiday........and h**ed Roosevelt and thought Truman was a twerp. It's good to have a chance to vent.

Welcome, Senior Pat, to our forum. I like and agree with your thinking. He's not MY President either. He's a dangerous clown. I'm glad my husband didn't live to see this. It would have k**led him for sure. He served in the Marines and then in the US Border Patrol, back when they apprehended i*****l a***ns and sent them packing to their own countries, predominantly Mexico.

Forget the Taliban. Our own government has become our worst enemy.

My Daddy was an extreme patriot, served in ww1 and had the gun, sharpshooter medal, uniform (rather comical) and love of country to prove it. He was fierce about his patriotism, because I was Daddy's Girl he took me to every parade in Portland, drove a firetruck in ww2, made sure I collected cans and newspapers for the "war effort". He had a strong temper and I can imagine what he would think and say of Obama. I am deeply concerned for our country, I believe we are in serious trouble and that Obama will do all he can to destroy our American way of life.

If I haven't already welcomed you, I'd like to do so now. How I appreciate the wonderful Americans who served our nation! I am so sorry they have to watch what is happening to it now. It is heartbreaking. I hope to see your name and comments often here on 1PP. You'll like some of us, tolerate some of us, and wish some of us would go elsewhere, but mostly you are among friends on this forum.
