Hi, Marcus! It's always great to see new people at 1PP. I hail from Texas, now live in Arizona. Tell us, if you feel comfortable doing so, just a little about yourself - no need to reveal deep secrets, just a little something for us to know about Marcus.

Welcome to the board. You'll find some very left and right wing people here, if your middle of the road you'll likely catch it from both sides.

Thank you for the warm welcome.
I live near St.Louis. Politically I consider myself an Independent. If it's a good idea ,then I'm all for it.

To be offended says more about you than the offender. Though I may find certain people and or event's to be offensive, I rarely take offense. .

Independent? Good idea! I was Republican for 50 years. Now Libertarian. Personally I think we should eliminate political parties......if we did, there would be less angst in the US. Your thoughts on this?

OK eliminate both parties and what would form to take it's place? You know something would form, maybe 15 different parties so you'd need at least three of them to join forces to have a majority.
