So what's your point Boston has an Irish area called south Boston an Italian area called the North End. Ethic background tend to live in the same area.

I have never been to the area that P.G. refers to, but I "have" been to a Muslim compound, at least to the gates, and they were guarded by individuals clearly hostile. You wouldn't think one might exist in rural VA, but it does. I had heard stories, but I dismissed them. I was lost, almost out of gas, when I stumbled across the compound. I can tell you I did NOT roll down my window and ask for directions. I turned myself right around and prayed I could make it somewhere publicly safe to ask directions before I ran out of gas. There's nothing wrong with folks wishing to celebrate their heritage by living close to one another and keeping tradition alive, but when it includes hostility toward others not like them that they don't even know, a whole 'nother story.

If Boston has those area's given ethnic names, why can I not do the same for my city. It is reputed to have the largest Muslim residents of any city in the U.S., rivaling even Dearborn, MI.
