Yeah, buzzwords get old. The reason why t***sparency became such a buzzword is because of the cloak of secrecy that covered the government while Bush was in office. It was somewhat alarming. I'm pretty sure ANY government that followed would have made a huge impression on people simply by offering t***sparency.
