Only badge-lickers/authoritarians could still defend or ignore the viciousness of our Israeli/DHS trained cops. This is a move in the right direction;

A few others would be removing all or part of tax-payer protection/coverage for their illegal/immoral/unconstitutional actions and force them to surrender all or part of their personal assets to contribute to payment of judgments. This could include captains, commissioners, chiefs-of-police... all those responsible but apparently not performing their duties to cull the perverts/deviates/steroid-laced thugs from their rosters.
Perhaps another could be removing ALL immunity for "officers of the courts" when they're exposed committing criminal acts to enhance their conviction percentages.
A third would be to disband all cop-shops and farm it out to bonded private firms. It would eliminate their way-to-powerful unions, pension funds, health care etc. and put them on the same footing the bulk of the people in this oligarchy must struggle with. One down side would be them, (unemployed cops unable to perform a real job to support their spawn/spouses), having to move into the same tent cities/storm systems millions of dispossessed/former victims in this oligarchy call home. Then, karma would indeed be a "b***h". The tables would turn and they would be assaulted by citizens seeking justice for past suffering, smashing former cop phones and cameras filming citizens.... lol.
I suppose I should add a disclaimer here and admit SOME of the ideas are for comic relief... else some stunted badge-licker/sycophant will burn me in effigy or print.
