Oh, no umbrage taken whatsoever, kind sir....I KNOW it was meant in jest, indeed I did. As to future endeavors? I think I'm going to endeavor to take more time to hug my llamas and smell the roses, maybe even bring back to life my koi and lotus ponds. I feel the need for a renewal of spirit.

I should have added "what's missing from the internet" is the inability when reading another's thoughts to be able to see true facial expressions and intent....like the twinkle in my eye as I keyed my response to you. just doesn't do justice. Then again, at times, perhaps a blessing.

You would be amazed at the twinkle in Salty's eyes when approaching a lovely lady...say, such as yourself.

I wish for you great fortune in your pursuits. I also envy you your llama's and lifestyle. I wish I could have lotus ponds and koi. I find them very relaxing and good for the spirits, especially on 'down' days.

I thank you for your kind wishes. On "down" days, I fling my arm around a few of my llamas' necks. It is awesome therapy. I had been working so hard that I let the ponds fall into disrepair. I think my priorities are now righted. Lots of work is needed, but that kind of work can be great therapy as well. I'm thankful I can still do it. However, creating Sanctuary came at a price, in more ways than one, but no regrets, especially now that I have righted myself. Amazing how priorities shift.

Carole, everything he said is so true. And I love your llama therapy. I can imagine it. I have 2 indoor cats. I refuse to have another one k**led. I was heart broken, and so was my daughter. You just sound like such a lovely, giving person. I think I sent you a message. I don't actually know if it got sent. I gave you my email address. If you didn't get it, comment to me when you can. This is ProudLiberal - Nora - cannot stand that name anymore. Have asked Admin to help me change it. It is drawing a lot of bullying from someone. He must be filled with h**e, fear, and something else to be so rascist and bigoted against gays and lesbians, etc. I mean, what threat is anyone to him? Sheesh.
Nora Hope :D :!:

I particularly like the "last but not least" about Buddy Holly. And tonight I posted about this day in history being the one year anniversary of the capture of the little girls in Nigeria by the Boko Haram. All over the globe, there are in all languages, tweets with the #tagBRINGBACKOURGIRLS. This I remember. Good night, from dance therapist. My future son-in-law wears Buddy Holly glasses!!! 8-) I'll find a photograph of him.

Future son-in-law from Costa Rica, Cristian, and my lovely daughter, Sophie. They were visiting over Christmas. He is the only one without any tattooes. And his hair is actually ginger-colored.

On THIS day in history, in 1865, Lincoln is assassinated. On this day in 1912, the Titanic sinks. Speaking of the Titanic, the star of the movie was Leonardo di Caprio. There was another Leonardo of some importance who was actually born on this day in 1452. I believe somone said his last name was da Vinci, or something like that. You ever hear of him?

Loki, what is wrong with you.
Ridiculous comments. Do you do such just out of sheer spite and hatred? What's the point? :hunf:  :!:

....certainly, a lapse in judgment. You're right, ridiculous, hurtful comments by someone who truly does not know you, and while easier said than done, consider the absurdity. Those words uttered at your expense are not ones for you to own. Remember that. They do not reflect badly on you, but on the writer(s) who perhaps have forgotten that real people reside on the other side of the screen. People should be most careful with their words.

I am in a quandary, and perplexed by his assertion that Loki somehow insulted him. I can find no link that Loki did so, even obliquely.

Nor did I. I, actually, re-read the forum in an attempt to find an insult by any person.

 well now, perhaps "maybe" I shall have to back pedal, and mayhaps "not"....if this is a Mars vs. Venus thingamabob....then I shall rapidly back pedal and take my thousand lashes with a wet noodle. Perhaps, Loki meant to be flip. He many times is. That's the problem with not having facial expressions to view to go with words in key bytes spoken. However, it came across as a put down to me "before" DanceTherapist posted a reaction to Loki's comment inquiring as to whether "Dance" was familiar with the "other" Leonardo. Again, certainly a mea culpa from me if I misinterpreted  and indeed, if the mea culpa is warranted, it will require a huge effort to wrench my foot from my mouth.

What the hell is WRONG with you? Historical fact. I post them all the time. Lincoln was assassinated on the same day that the Titanic sank, Since you are obviously too dense to recognize tongue-in-cheek, let me simplify it even further. Leonardo da Vinci was also born on the same date. More people have heard of de Caprio than Da Vinci. The comment had nothing to do with an insult. You had best make an appointment with your doctor, and have your overly sensitive toes and feelings examined, lest they suffered even more grevious, and as yet undiscovered damage at my loutish hands.
