I will go by Stonegate, I'm new to this site, I am very much a Conservative, and I fully believe in the Constitution of the United State, I believe it is time that we should all start making all others aware of the Constitution and what it say's and stands for, the conservatives of this country have a very hard and long task ahead of us, and that is to reform Under a new party so collectively we can try to take back our country during e******ns, if we the Conservatives do not come together as a whole party collectively we will be defeated during the up comming e******ns, we all either need to be under the Tea Party or Constitutional Party, this need to happen in order to break the old two party system that has taken over our country, if we just continue under the two party system the corruption will just continue to happen and we'll still be in the same pile of crap that we have already had!

Welcome to the site. I think, (one comment notwithstanding), that you will find a good many kindred spirits here. Most of the comments here are from Conservatives, along with some Liberal, some intelligent, some not so much. I could say the same thing about courtesy. Post away. You'll find a good many on this site who already identify as Libertarian or Independent. Not too many do or die "Republican, my party right or wrong" types. People here are sometimes downright passionate about their beliefs, which sometimes leads to insults and name-calling, but it is still preferable to the apathy that got us into this mess. The people I disagree with are still better than the ones who just don't care.

Welcome aboard you will find most of us old codgers are with you on your thoughts and you will find a lot of support here. Most of us are libertarian, constitutional party, independents and of course some good old die hard republicans. Each has their own idea on how to win back the country, so welcome on board, you never know when a fresh idea that really works may happen to be birthed here on this site. It was like this in my company, where we all sat around and brain stormed until a real unique idea hit us and we all agreed to it and got on board and the project took of from there. Not all were successes, some crashed and burned and we had to go back to the drawing board but enough worked to make it fun and exciting at the same time.

Welcome to 1PP! I agree with your thoughts, up to a point. The problem with a third party is that it usually detracts from the conservative v**es, unfortunately. I think if people vetted their candidates and got rid of the dems/progs and RINOs, things would start to turn around. There truly is 3 parties in this country:
1. dems/progs 2. conservatives 3. RINOs
Many people v**e for RINOs thinking they are conservative and then these people walk the dem/prog "road". NO party is 100% right. It's just a shame that "we the people" have to v**e the "least worst alternative".
I will continue to v**e for politicians that (I believe) support:
1. smaller government.
2. belief in the Constitution.
3. peoples' rights
4. less governmental intrusion in private lives
5. a balanced budget (with less entitlements)
6. no aid to countries that undermine and h**e the U.S.
7. no monetary aid to foreign countries until the U.S. is solvent.
Just my opinion.

Thank you sir, I agree that it's very hard to pull all the so called conservatives together, or the republicans or constitutionalist or other like minded people, I releize that their are many parties out there, but as americans we must come together to protect our way of life and liberty, as Americans we are being devided and pulled a part piece by piece, we must all band together in order to overcome, I know as the other person said that I should be trying to convince the Liberals, but I'm only one, together all conseravtive like minded people need to stand together in order to get the others that maybe be leaning towards this cause to come into to it.

Before we worry about forming or joining parties, how about we demand that the law be followed.
When people break the law, they need to pay the price, otherwise why would anyone follow the law, regardless of what party they are affiliated with.
Obama has committed at least three separate felonies in producing and using his forged birth certificate. This has been proved, 100%.
The media is covering it up, we need to make sure that it is uncovered.

Welcome, Stonegate! Love seeing more conservatives join this site! I am a conservative Libertarian. I was a registered Republican for 48 years - quit it in 2010 in total disgust. I v**e PRIMARILY for ONE thing because it is unrealistic to expect a single politician to appeal to everything everyone wants. That ONE THING I base my v****g on is the protection of individual freedoms. That covers a plethora of good things and few to none of the bad things.
What we MUST do is quit v****g on single issues other than individual freedoms. If we are all free, we can handle the other things. If we stop all a******ns, we can still lose our liberties, and a******ns will then go through the roof as an example. If we want smaller government, then we must be taxed less, and spend less. If we accomplish that, yet lose our freedoms, taxation will go through the roof as another example.
Those are examples of my thought processes. Hopefully all the good people here can work through something that we can all agree on in order to save our nation from tyranny.

Because Homested there is strenght in numbers, why do you think the Democrat have taken over, they had the numbers, the only way to win against that is to have a louder voice, that comes with having move voices in which to send the message, I do agree that we need to enforce the laws, but we are going against a group that do not believe that they have to follow those very laws in which you speak of, there fore we need a much louder voice, the voice of the people, the peramble to the constitution is WE THE PEOPLE!

I believe that we have the numbers but that we have two many in our numbers that to used to getting walked on and have given up the fight. It is sort of like the merchants in Chicago and the other bug cities that had to pay for protection and after being beaten down so much either moved out or just gave up and paid. When it seems like even the police are on the take and part of the problem it just makes everything worse. Sort of like having OIllegal shaking down the country and the congress and senate and the department of injustice helping him. After awhile you say what is the use but our founders fought back and so can we.

Thank you Bahmer, I have read some of your posts over the last few days and I must say you have a great grasp of the situation in our country, I look forward to discussing the many things wrong with our current political system, it is a mess and it is due for some serious changes.
