Oh, and Dignity says to say "hello"!
The photo of Dignity and I didn't develop, that is why it is missing.
Sorry, there is no such thing as dying with dignity: there is living with dignity in remaining loving and true to those close to us and our principles. Dying is not a factor of living.

Respectfully disagree....
I have a mother and Aunt in their personal race to reach Heaven, as we speak..
My Aunt has pancreatic cancer..A vicious, painful cancer that never lets up...
Her pain immense, she never complains~~dignity
Her inability to do much of anything, but always "trying" to do for herself~~dignity
He attitude towards love and life, stated frequently with dignity and p***e for what she accomplished and witnessed in her short life.......
Her continued battle to fight, done with a level of dignity, most would have given up on...
Her words of positive re enforcement start and stop with her level of personal dignity in what defines and motives her to be as she is....Death her known realization of her plight, she still remains "dignified" in action~~

Amen, Well said. The real fact of life is, "The day we are born, we begin to die."
You and you loved ones are prayed for daily.

I agree with you, and I am sending this privately, because I do not want to go to Oregon or Vermont or one of the very few States who allow "Death with Dignity", and I have a very private contract with my primary physician. To just let me go. Hospice at home, and just let it drip. I really like your comments, which is why I added you to my "buddy" list. I cannot get used to such hatred, disrespect, rascism, anger, fury, even by some people. I think perhaps it is an overdose of White Power and FOX News. Some of these folks really sound like The White Arryian Resistance. During the night one of their newspapers appearred on my front porch. It was just surreal. The caricatures of B****s, Jews, Chinese were appalling and somehow pitiful. I had a bi-racial household. 2 other families on my block got the same WAR paper. A Jewish couple, and a couple - White woman and Japanese-American man, married couple. Oh, well. And so it goes.....

You do realize his posting was a joke, correct? Dignity being the name of a female companion in the joke.

I think it went over her head. Perhaps she should refrain from dancing on it.
(That, by the way, was another facetious remark so please don't take umbrage at it, or me.) [I am therefore enclosing, in advance, an apology if one is necessary.]

I can be dense; however, even I understood the theme. :)

Sorry, where is the disagreement? She is living life as she knows, not dying with dignity. Everyone is dying, from the newborn up. We do not die with dignity, we live in dignity. I love your aunt. She is a great and true inspiration for life...not dying with dignity.
