I am shocked and I am LMBO!!! I just learned that an individual on OPP has been posting as several different people. And at times having conversations with that other personality.

So.... time to fess up folks.... are there any others out there who have Dissociative Identity Disorder?

Let me be the first. When I joined OPP I selected my nickname and the first initial of my last name. So, I was GinnyT. A while back, I had an issue with an individual who was persistent to put it nicely. So, I went to Admin and asked for help. They told me the person claimed I was rude to him and causing him problems. So rather than make an issue, I asked for their advice. They said...change your log on name. So, I did. I became Pennylynn. This was the name my Papa called me, Penny because my hair was red like a newly minted penny and Lynn, which was his favorite opera singer. I guess he had hoped I would learn to sing...never happened, I can sour milk with my singing.

So... come on. If there is one person who has multiple personalities there are possibly more.... your turn, confess!!

Yea Penny, We all have secrets but thats not one of mine, I worked in asphalt paving roads for near 43 yrs. and the workers called me the man and later they hooked me with asphaltman so here i am. My brother-n-law says he has 3 different voices in his head, i ask him does that bother him. He said only when they got into an argument,. Other than that, he dont pay them no mind. However, he did say they do come up with some pretty gud ideas sometimes. wow, lol

I always thought that you were for real. You and I have had some good conversations. I figured that you had your head squared on. But, I think that there are more than a few who have multiple log on names..... it will be fun to find out.

I have enough trouble with one on line name, what with the many voices in my head, couldn't handle two or more.

So far... five voices in his head.... and I am not sure there are not more..... He actually had conversations within those personalities and arguments in threads..... and he managed to do this from last year... eight months that I have discovered.... and if there are more, then who knows how long. Such sadness and loneliness. What gets me, this is what he accused me and others of doing. He needs help.

Wow, quite a revelation. I guess his credibility is shot now. I hope one day he finds some inner-peace, God knows we all go a little nuts at times.
At least he had the cojones to fess up, for what that's worth. I have a feeling that if anyone else is doing something similar here, they will not acknowledge it.

From personal experience, I must say there are interesting conversations to be had and you can choose sides.:roll: :lol: However, in total t***sparency, at one point in time, I researched posting as another, finding that it can be done, without Admin's knowledge, but decided against it because I realized I would be disrespecting myself and others to do so. I am who I am. :wink:

Agreed..... I guess this thread is dead. I thought it was funny when he slipped up with me.... and being me, I called him on it. Then he made a second slip..... and I created this topic.....come to find out, he confessed to five personas and some dated back to last year, as in May 2014....and he was having pretend conversations and arguments. And he did not go through ADMIN to change his name because of issues or embarrassment of the log on name... he created and carried five different log ons....and he was on line with the different names at the same time. Go figure. I know that I am now going to be real careful about giving out personal information or inviting people to visit....

And you are a fine person. I am sure you had your reasons for looking into the possibility....
