You beat me to it, Liberty Tree. If my wife went out and bought a new Lexus, a new wardrobe, a month's vacation in Hawaii, sent $10,000 to each of our grandkids and then complained if I tried to cut the magazine subscriptions and if we had to stop eating out so much then I might get a feel of where Congress is. Oh, yeah, she might also complain I was being sexist if I asked her to spend less at the beauty parlor. I know analogies can be misleading but I think you get the idea. That is, everyone but the liberals.

The Reflubs did not even propose a balanced budget.

Try to keep up moron.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Republicans muscled a balanced-budget plan through the Senate early Friday, positioning Congress for months of battling President Barack Obama over the GOP's goals of slicing spending and dismantling his health care law.

Working into Friday's pre-dawn hours, senators approved the blueprint by a near party-line 52-46 v**e, endorsing a measure that closely follows one the House passed Wednesday. Both budgets embody a conservative vision of shrinking projected federal deficits by more than $5 trillion over the coming decade, mostly by cutting health care and other benefit programs and without raising taxes.

I'm not sure why you even attempt to babble on about a budget seeing as how your party couldn't introduce one for 4 straight years. Democrats do not want their spending habits constrained by a pesky budget.

For the same reason the Democrats didn't. They would have to tax their benefactors. It's ok to tax you and me but touch the 1% NEVER. K**l the small businesses, pay the laborers just enough to sustain life, in order to keep your s***e labor pool, but ask the people who have benefited from this country the most to pay their fair share, never.

Crooks, the lot of them.

Yes. The GOP has finally admitted that the Democratic party is THE premier power in the US. Even though they won overwhelmingly in the last e******ns, they admit that it was all for naught - as the Democrats can't be beaten.

To lose an e******n by staggering numbers, but STILL be the ultimate power - is quite telling. Don't you think?

Hi Bob, don't you think it's about time to drop that 'pea brain' name? You may not have a party but you certainly line up with the Dems and oppose the Reps at every turn. Call it what you want, I don't care. Budgets? I think you know what the Dems think of budgets. Certainly, Obama h**es them, as he h**es every conventional tool that has made this Country great. As far as he is concerned, a budget is just something to disregard, just like the Constitution. He h**es it too. We have a lot of Reps that we have to get out too. It's a big job. Not made any easier with a bunch of people out there making noise about something they have no idea about.
