Facts about the GOPTP budget

Remember during the last e******n the GOPTP warned Obama policies would deminish employment and stock market would drop. They also predicted trillion dollar deficits $6.60 gas prices, also that we would have. $6.60 gas prices, also the GOPTP could drop unemployment rates to 6% by 2016 and it's 2015 and we are down to 5.5%.

So now we have created 12 million new jobs created, stock market had doubled, deficit spending is down by 2/3, healthcare inflation at it's lowest rate in. 50 years, manufacturing coming back, clean energy had doubled, had prices at $2.65. But the GOPTP thru there propaganda deny any success this country has had over the last 6 years.

I would say the middle class agenda is working. But now steps in GOPTP to return our economy to the same top down economics that failed this country under Bush and Damm near put us into the second Great Depression. Now we look at the GOPTP budget to cut taxes again for millionaires and billionaires while slashing investments in middle class, education, job training, and manufacturing. Look this stuff up it's real and the GOPTP agenda is clear, stop listening to propaganda the GOPTP agenda will destroy the middle class.

Let's look at our Koch controlled GOPTP budget. 157,000 children lose out on acess to head start. 4 million workers would lose out on job training, loss of training for tradesman with there agenda of eliminating unions.. Title 1 education funding would be cut by $2.7 billion to defund 10,000 schools and 38,000 teachers to further reduce public education. Cut IDEA by. $1.6 billion that would eliminate 26,000 special education teachers. Take health insurance away from 16 million people. Deprive 130 million people with pre existing conditions. These foolish Block grants for Medicaid, lost in this crazy policy children's health cutting insurance. Eliminates mandatory spending for Pell grants, freezes the maximum grant at it's current levels, instead of allowing it to increase with inflation. Overtime it estimates 8 million students will not be able to afford college. It Also cuts supplemental Nutrition assistance programs like SNAP by $140 billion over 10 years. This is really crazy stuff and it's real if you bother to look this stuff up.

All of this to support there take breaks for the wealthy and support there agenda of of top down economics. The Koch controlled congress budget for all to read does nothing but hurt real people but creates more money for wars, repeals the ACA, cut food stamps and Medicaid.

This budget also eliminates all the 2010 reforms to regulate Wall Street, all regulation put into place to prevent another Bush feasco. Remember Fox blaming all this crap on Obama, but Obama put regulation in place to prevt this crash. How can any GOPTP supporter deny this stuff.

Republicans believe their budget will create a $33 billion surplus by 2025 but it is all based on dynamic scoring, which actually presumes that supply side economics growth will increase revenues. Just look at Bush it does not work history shows it does not work, under Bush we had lost revenues of $6.6 trillion loss in revenues, high unemployment and the largest gap in income ine******y in the history of this country.

The republicans don't score their budget on what is likely to happen , rather what they want to happen. Somehow it looks great on paper but history had proven in the real world it just does not work unless you live in the world of the Koch Brothers and Fox News.

What really should be obvious to this country the republican priorities in this budget serves as a reminder of what control the TP now has over the GOP with TP egerness to cut programs that benifit the poor and middle class, while enhancing the wealthy by lavishing Favours on big banks (thru deregulation) corporate welfare, military contractors (thru inflated defence budgets) it should be clear but with GOPTP propaganda we now have a TP that destroyed our GOP. It should be clear who the TP works for.

House TP legislators have proven time and time again they have little regard for average American families or the typical American workers.

But the proof is there for you TP supporters that the only way to support wealthy Tax Cuts is to cut healthcare, and destroy public education. If you read this budget and if you can't see the TP priorities it's sad.

Now we have Ted Criz running for president to further show the ignorance of the TP to destroy the GOP. We see Cruz a senator that would rather shut down the government than kind of compromise with anybody in order to advance the agenda of turning this country over to the corporate elite and suppressing the poor and middle class. All with Koch brothers money. He will thru his foolish religious right agenda try to convince these TP folks that corporate tax breaks and war will fix our economy. Let's not let this far right extremist BS destroy everything the fiscal conservatives stand for.

To OP:

It was a bunch of Democrats as well as Republicans that deregulated the markets by way of repeal of Glass Steagal. In a sound money economy that would not be a problem but allowing banks to "print" the money they use to buy stocks is the biggest reason for the run up in stock prices, as well as concentration of wealth.

Short term it is relatively easy to mask effects by simply "printing" more money. Problem is a lot of our success is but a chimera, and there are mid term and long term as well as short term effects of economic and political policies. For a better look at the long term, read a bit of David Stockman, or Jim Rickards book, "the Death of Money." It is likely we are on the brink of an economic collapse larger than the last one that we are not yet quite over. But go ahead and bury succeeding generations in debt. All we need do is print more money so the banksters can save us.

No matter how true this may be , I doubt if even one teabag on OPP would agree. They'll just say it's a lie. The very idea that Cruz has support to run for president is evidence of the denial of reality that the ballbags possess.

They can't there had not been a republican president that ever balanced a budget in the last 5 republican presidents. You can't balance a budget with corporate tax breaks and wars. It's impossible.

After bing in OPP for a bit it's easy to know which posters to follow and which to ignore. tdsrnest is earnest as heck in his/her criticism of everything Conservative but woefully misinformed. "GOPTP" is a contradiction in terms but he/she just keeps h*****g on to it. The GOP of today is neither grand nor a (viable) party. It's just old and it's members are only interested in perpetuating their jobs; not in actually accomplishing anything beneficial to the country. The Tea Party, however, is close to being the party that brought America into being in the first place. As such, it gets short shrift from the Republicans who are scared spitless that it may catch on and upset their comfortable apple cart. Neither party, today, does squat for America and every single one of them needs to be replaced.

My only criticism is "which Tea Party?" Here in WI, some are so-com, some strongly libertarian and some are indistinguishable from the GOP establishment, in fact I am sure were commissioned to coopt the movement.

As to td.... I agree. His posts are woefully ignorant, whether that is willful or not.

But Glass-Steagall was repealed under Clinton in '99.. Though financial deregulation had already been steadily underway, this was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back, giving banks, hedge funds, equity firms, etc free reign to treat the economy as a casino. The ramifications have been devastating, as we all know.

Very True statements I just can 'to imagine a Cruz presidency 100% controlled by the Koch brothers agenda. It would be a total distruct ion of the middle class, public education, and total repeal of the EPA, along with further corporate tax breaks and war

Okay your point is well taken so let's seperate the TP from the GOP and let them run as a third party seperate from the GOP. Why do TP politicians run under the GOP. TP legislators caucus with republicans in the house and senate. So tell me how to seperate the two and I would be happy.
