I was watching the Glenn Beck program this morning, and his leading story was that Iranian leaders have approved the use of an EMP device over American soil, which the ayatollahs announced apparently without fear of repercussion.

Experts estimate that if an EMP attack should occur over American soil, 90% of the population would be dead in a year!

I have some questions:
1. Why is it so difficult to get the utility companies to cooperate with Congress in hardening our electrical grid? Seems like a no-brainer to me.
2. Why is this administration even talking to these Iranian nut jobs? Oh, yeah, it's Obama and Kerry, the uncommon sense pair.
3. All sarcasm aside, what do we do next?

The government is trying to PREVENT us from preparing. Why? I'm not sure, but remember agenda 21? The elimination of 80% of America's population! Since the late 70s all vehicles have had computers installed, By 86 it had to have he ability to be shutoff by radio signal. Now everything has them, even diesels! Even power units and lawnmowers. Every engine powered machine uses a t***sistor circuit to trigger the ignition spark. And the new cars control EVERYTHING by the computer. There are installations every few miles on the roadsides, disguised as traffic counters, but have the shutoff t***smitters inside too. Because some people got around the computers by installing carburators and point type distributers in there cars, the new ones even have electric gas pedals and computer controlled t***smissions. Every effort to make them vulnerable to EMP AND the shutoff signal! Sent from a helecopter every engine in a CITY CAN BE SHUTOFF! Why would the government want that? Think Martial law! Think major CHANGE of our country, think almost all of our politicians being members of different c*******t front groups! Think all bureaucrats unionized! Now ADD IT ALL UP.......... Of course those involved will use Alinksi tactics to deny all of it!

And lets not forget all of those "f**e" radio towers that they were busted on and are continuing to erect with no fear from the media due to the fact that they(the reporters) would like to live a little longer.

The "experts" are not true experts, they are politicians and military folk. Huge devices have been tested and there were some effects, but the range is very limited. The effects decrease as the square of the distance increases from the source.

Iran might get nuclear capability but they can't deliver it to the altitude required, and they will never have megaton capability which is what appears to be needed for that type of effect.

To top it off, if Iran did that or N Korea, within minutes there would be many coming their way from a multitude of locations, not the least of which is our nuclear sub fleet which is, at any time, in a location unknown even to the US command.
