It's sad that many "parents" today are more worried about if their child likes them instead of being the authority figure. With no guidance as youngsters they grow to be " know it alls" and wind up falling under the spell of these slick talking nickel asses. And now we have Muslims protesting on these campuses about the movie " American Sniper" about a real American hero. With the likes of a piece of s**t like Obama and That goofy looking Sharpton, Holder and the rest of the usual suspects running all over the country dividing it no wonder these Svengali asswhipes fly under the radar.

My wife teaches 11th grade AP English and no longer teaches any critical thinking sk**ls because there is no longer room for it in her curriculum. Students who can't think critically can't think which is what you are seeing reflected now at the university level. There is enough evidence in to show that standardized testing is a flop so lets end it and get back to allowing our teacher to do what they are supposed to be doing--teaching!
As for the phones, I would hope that would be obvious...

Your gonna have a fight on your hands with those phones. I pick my grand kids up every day at school and parent after parent after parent blocks or holds the line up because their playing on there phones. Monday, sitting at a red light waiting, light changes and stupid broad just sits there with a green light, car behind me lays on the horn.

Based on whomever is using cell phones are either the best invention or the worst. It can save lives and destroy lives and it can even replace having real conversations with people. There are times cell phones should be thrown away and times when they become a necessity. It is up to us to learn how to master the phone because today the phone has mastered the user.

The smart phone has mastered the human race. I simple gave up my smart phone for a phone. While driving I watch and people even use them while driving. We have blue tooth and the phone stays in the center bin, phone rings and it's one button to answer and another to hang up.
I can see the use but most people let the fool thing run their lives.

I always liked Phil Robertson on Duck Dynasty. When he had the grand kids over to help he would take their cell phones from them and through them into the woods. Best use of them I've ever seem give them to the animals to use.

Thank the Lord my grand kids don't have cell phones. House rules are put them on the table when you arrive, pick em up when you leave. Your coming to visit, we're four feet away so you don't need a phone.
