No dear, he raises chickens. Somehow, I feel there may be ordnances against chicken coops in the City of San Francisco. Snark coming...Heaven help you, you would not want truly fresh eggs. The ones sitting on the market shelf for days are just so much better.

No worries AuntiE. In fact within the city limits of SF one may have up to 4 hens, though no roosters.
My best friends (another same-sex couple :roll: ) have two hens in their backyard near the ocean. I've had eggs from Flora and Fauna (yes they are named...remember I said they belonged to a gay couple!) and I see the sarcasm in your admonition about market shelf eggs.

Plus, remember this is SF in California. We order online and they deliver. Or I can always stop into the dispensary down the street from Whole Foods.
