That is what we shine on ourselves, not others. Yet that is not the case here, at opp. The glare is for cross-hairs and cross-examination.

"Whenever I am disturbed, I know the problem is in me." This is a spiritual axiom about our mental processes. There are no exceptions. The problem is not out there, passed the tip of your nose, but in you.

Nothing happens to you, against you, or for you; it all happens within you. Reality is only in the heart; the life you get is there.

There is NO such word in any of the three dictionaries I searched as "unpitious".

Please provide an actual link to the "spiritual axiom", "Whenever I am disturbed, I know the problem is in me." You have said in the past the referenced statement is your axiom. Your personal axiom does not make it a "spiritual axion" because you say so.

I actually, insert HUGE SHUTTER, understand your attempt at philosophy; however, it is SO SO SO VERY POORLY presented using a non existent word and lacking anything other then bonkerboos prattle, as to have ....I actually have no adjectives to describe what it lacks.

Wow, okay. Page 91 of the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of AA, you will find the "spiritual axiom" in the second paragraph. In the Bible, it is found in Romans 1-2.

"Unpitious" comes from a Christian Mystic in the Twelfth Century, describing the mundane (carnal or ordinary) mind; this is not complimentary to the brain.

"Wow okay" meaning, you should have provided this information in your originating post. I now, as do others, have a reference point to read for reflection to respond appropriately.

I know I am a n**i on some things. At least, I, again HUGE SHUTTER, partially understood what you were attempting to say. Boy does that frighten me :!: :!: :!:

Is the phrase "spiritual axiom" used in Romans? You say "Romans 1 2". Is it the entire two chapters or is it Romans 1:2?

Romans 1:2 says- which HE promised beforehand through His prophets in the holy scriptures.

I read it. Perhaps I am, adjectives fail me, but I still seek the phrase rumitoid used, "spiritual axiom". Obviously I am just not making the connection. I read it last night and again today.

"Spiritual axiom" is the phrase in the book, The Twelve Steps And Twelve Traditions, appearing on page 91.

Romans: 1-2 talks about making of ourselves "a living sacrifice," which is the working purpose of the Twelve Steps. "Renewing of the mind" eventually reveals that we are the architects of our own adversity; there is nothing passed the tip of our nose to blame or complain about.

No opaqueness there. Thank you.

It was not connecting. I understood the part about the Twelve Step. My brain was not processing this at all.

Opaqueness was not my intent. though I see where I practically made it an art form. Sorry.

I freely admit I can miss things. My issue was I actually went through this commentary at least three times. It simply befuddled me completely.

When I was younger, eons ago, "befuddlement" meant it must be brilliant. If I did not "get" a work of art or poem, it was a genius beyond ordinary comprhension.

Webster's Dictionary: befuddle=confuse.

I do not believe the state of "befuddlement" t***slates to "genius" but confusion which is neither "brilliant" nor " genius". I understand what you mean, and this pattern continues today. It is also applicable to movies or plays. No one has a clue what is going on; however, it is just "brilliant". 8-) Unfortunately for you, your posts sometimes do not meet that definition because they are not art, movie or play. You will have to stick to just befuddling us on occasion. :P :-o
