There is a gathering darkness....
More than half a century ago, while I was still a child, I recall hearing a number of older people offer the following explanation for the great disasters that had befallen Russia: Men have forgotten God; thats why all this has happened. Since then I have spent well-nigh fifty years working on the history of our Revolution; in the process I have read hundreds of books, collected hundreds of personal testimonies, and have already contributed eight volumes of my own toward the effort of clearing away the rubble left by that upheaval. But if I were asked today to formulate as concisely as possible the main cause of the ruinous Revolution that swallowed up some sixty million of our people, I could not put it more accurately than to repeat: Men have forgotten God; thats why all this has happened. Alexander Solzhenitsyn
Fallible man (& woman) remain not only fallible, but gruesome. For when we know we are fallible, but willingly embrace redemption, we find a way out of the abyss. But in ignoring or denying our fallibility or the redemptive grace that is offered as a remedy, we sink deeper into the inky blackness of sin. Initially, we strike a proud picture of self-reliance and self-sufficiency. But too soon, lacking Gods miraculous T***h, we find ourselves flailing around to grab hold of some any surrogate t***h. Devoid of dignity, devoid of purpose, devoid of hope, the godless man and his godless world tragically self-immolate. The Standard is ignored. The Benchmark is bypassed. The Grace is refused. Armed with a clever smile and a topped-off cocktail, the man without God (as Peguy describes above) finds himself spiritually devolved, disenchanted and deformed.
As Bernanos would describe, [Bereft of all] artificial props with which society provides such people, they will find themselves as they really are, as they were without even knowing it horrible undeveloped monsters, the stumps of men.

There is always Mother Nature to worship.

When God is replaced with things like Obama and the trolls of OPP,disaster is sure to follow.
I understand exactly your message which makes me want to ask " Who is the liar?" (1 John 2:23) Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son. Any one in mind?
The war in heaven (Rev. 12:7-12) was just the beginning of the continuing war being fought. against Satan and his followers across the world. The very nature of the conflict, however, is such that there could be no neutrals then or now. He that is not with me is against me. (Matt: 12: 30)
It is time, before it is too late, for Christian of all denominations to push back, harder than the opposition, against antichrists who hide in our churches, schools, governments and communities, all who deny the Christ and what He stands for.
Thanks, Warrior

For me, this post is another fear-based-get-your-enemy-plainly-in-your-sights ugliness. All d******eness, offering no redemption or reconciliation. Tragic!
Thanks for reading my post, I never expected it to be understood by every one, but that is alright. We all have our opinions that differ from each other. That's what makes life interesting.

When God is replaced with an unforgiving spirit it is far worst.

You would be wrong about that. Redemption was offered to everyone 2000 years ago. The ball is in your park.

Our park, my friend, unless you have a shortcut to freedom in Christ!

Figure of speech, rummy, just a figure of speech.
I was alluding to "seek and ye shall find, knock and the door will be open to you, ask and ye shall receive." IOW, Jesus offered us salvation, it is up to us to embrace it.
