It use to be that nights were mostly semi's but the last couple of times it was more minivans that anything and they don't seem tp pay full attention when driving. We're thinking this summer just for something different and seeing it's a new car I'm sorta old school highway miles are good miles. Am debating leaving at 2200 and drive until 1500 the next day or being an old fat and leaving 0500 and stopping at 1500 or so in order to find a place to sleep.

My daughter an I are travelling to Fl again next week. She will do most of the driving, I don't think she has a lot of confidence in mine, but she will do any night driving we may be involved in.

Been thinking about those, will at least try them. I'm finding the glare is what really bothers me the most.

To all you seniors who are having trouble driving at night, here's something that will change your life. Go to a Valvoline oil change ( or any oil change where they wear those yellow safety glasses). Ask for a pair or ask to buy a pair. They light up the night like it's day time. Try it, I swear it works.

I suppose I am blessed. In spite of my physical disabilities due to an accident, I still have my wits about me, and my doctor says my eyesight would be unusually acute if I was 20 instead of 60. At night, I can read street signs before some people even see the signs. So, other than my mobility issues, there is nothing wrong with me. withme. wekn)+9me sith mememememe.......

A group of seniors were sitting around at the Coffee Club talking about all their ailments.
"My arms have gotten so weak I can hardly lift this cup of coffee," said one.
"Yes, I know," said another.
"My cataracts are so bad, I can't even see my coffee."
"I couldn't even mark an "X" at e******n time because my hands are so crippled," volunteered a third.
"What? Speak up! What? I can't hear you,” said one elderly lady.
“I can't turn my head because of the arthritis in my neck," said one, to which several nodded weakly in agreement.
"My blood pressure pills make me so dizzy!" exclaimed another.
"I forget where I am, and where I'm going," said another.
"I guess that's the price we pay for getting old," winced an old man as he slowly shook his head.
The others nodded in agreement.
"Well, count your blessings," said a woman cheerfully ...
"Thank God we can all still drive."

Being well into my fourth quarter on this wretched earth, I can relate to that. However I am in an advanced state. In the early morning when I awake my first impulse is to head to the head which is 20 feet down the hall. For that I must use GPS which is bad enough. When I finally get there I have to fumble around to find the zipper. Buy then it's too late. May as well go back to bed...

I did that once and it took me almost a year to heal
