He is a Chaplin.... who works for the military. His role is to support and encourage the military.... If he wished to preach his Liberal views..... perhaps he should have tried to get a job as a minister outside of the military.

In the event that you and he have not noticed, we (Americans) have been at war or a conflict for over 100 years. We are war weary and we need heroes. Heroes that show us that we can win, American Sniper gave that hope. What does the film about King do...... well, it tells us that white people are wrong, white people are worthless, w****s are low lives..... Perhaps uplifting for b****s and Muslims.... but the rest of us... Well..... Thanks, but no thanks, I am tired of the guilt trips, so LET'S HEAR IT FOR AMERICAN SNIPER.

I suppose that unless and until the chaplain decides to speak up about the circumstances it is all speculation.
It does seem odd that a Christian chaplain would be demoted/replaced for preaching peace.

I'd like to direct your attention to the last verse. Jesus, Himself, tells us there is a time for everything. That includes h**e and war.

The hyper affection we have towards violence in this country does not help our soldiers and instead does a disservice to them.

What the he...heck happened to reality? How many not-dead Americans thanks to this sniper. This man sacrificed every part of himself to protect his brothers in arms--all of himself. And I think he made that choice to lose himself in that effort--and that defines courage and hero to me.

In case you haven't noticed, the world is growing more violent with each passing day. At this stage of the game, I reckon our troops could do a helluva lot better without the "support" of liberals--especially the ones who have defanged them, who hold them in contempt, who make massive defense budget cuts, and generally piss all over them. Obama is the head cheese in that nefarious bunch.

Go visit a VA hospital and thank those guys for their sacrifice.

It tears me up this La-La land of life that seems to make our hero sons and daughters standing on the wall between us and evil, at great risk to keep us safe, as part of that evil. That Chaplain needs a day, at least, on that wall.
