An Arab was washed up on the shore of a desert island after a terrible shipwreck.

Only a sheep and a sheepdog were washed up with him

Looking around, he realized they were stranded on a deserted island.

After being there awhile, he got into the habit of taking his two animal companions to the beach every evening to watch the sunset.

One particular evening, the sky was a fiery red with beautiful cirrus clouds, the breeze was warm and gentle - a perfect night for romance.

As they sat there, the sheep started looking better and better to the lonely Arab.

Soon he leaned over to the sheep and put his arm around it.

But the sheepdog, ever protective of the sheep, growled fiercely until the Arab man took his arm from around the sheep.

After that, the three of them continued to enjoy the sunsets together but there was no more cuddling.

A few weeks passed by and, lo and behold, there was another shipwreck.

The only survivor was a beautiful young woman, the most beautiful woman the Arab man had ever seen without a Burkha.

She was in a pretty bad way when he rescued her and he slowly nursed her back to health.
When the young maiden was well enough, he introduced her to their evening beach ritual.

It was another beautiful evening...red sky, cirrus clouds, a warm and gentle breeze perfect for a night of romance.
Pretty soon, the Arab started to get 'those feelings' and thanked Allah for bestowing the moment to satisfy his carnal desire.
He cuddled up close to the young woman and whispered in her ear,

' Would you mind taking the dog for a walk? '

You know those rag heads. This is an actual Arab saying.

"a woman for sons. a boy for pleasure. And a camel for sheer ecstasy."

I am afraid I may have to replace mine, it is acting up on me. It has informed me it needs a new battery, but I think it has more problems than that. Or, could it possibly be me? Nah...

I've come the conclusion that laptops were not designed to last. As a matter of fact, few things are these days.

Mine is 4½ years old. My other one lasted about the same amount of time. I wonder if it is the make and if another brand would be longer lasting. I have always had HP's, with one exception which was, I believe, a Compaq many years ago.

Maybe I'm just too hard on them. I think I probably get several years of use out of mine, in a one year period. I'm a hardcore gamer, after all.

I must average about 12 hours a day on my computer. Maybe more.

When this one gives up the ghost, I may wait a while to get another one. I'll be able to catch up on some sleep. If I had a dollar for every hour of sleep this thing cost me, I could buy a new car. I'm not joking. It's worse than crack...And I don't even lose any weight, like the crack heads do. Actually, I'm gaining weight. It isn't fair.
