The cdc stats are correct, and so is Phil... as well,, ntlkkr doesn't get that the diseases manifest differently, can "hide" for many years asymptomatically, then re-emerge, or have multiple flare ups,,, and in the case of syphyllis,,, can actually develop an "immunity" to further reinfection,,,, so is spread unknowingly...

Of particular interest,,, syphyllis is considered to be the "ONE" epidemic disease that the native American gave to the invading Europeans,,,,, take that, huh??

Regardless of ntlkkrs unintelligent attempt to malign, the CDC numbers of STD's include much more than the big 4 or 5 known STD infections.. the epidemiology of STDs includes a lot of infections conveniently overlooked by the article and wanna-be drs like ntlkkr...
