It's all about government control all they had to is gain entry into our bill of rights 2nd Adm.right to bear arms and before you know it it would be gone,the right to bear arms doesn't only give us rights to defend our nation from invading forces but it also give us the right to defend our selves from a government take over.That's the bottom line for all this gun control.IN other words give them an inch they'll take a mile. The rights to bear arms also gives the people rights to protect our selves/ loved one's & property as well. With out this right we would be screwed blue & tatooed.

That's as good of an explanation as any.

The diametrically opposed viewpoints betwern left and right is just too large of a rift to be other than artificial. Regardless of who is correct, the differences in approach to almost any issue is so extreme that it makes no sense at all. It goes beyond the odds of coincidence. Beyond differences of opinion. As if the left's goal is to disagree no matter the topic.

No common ground. None. It is a though each side takes the most possible opposite stance to the other, that they can concieve of. The really big hurdle for me is to continue to attempt discussion with liberals on almost any topic. I know both sides spin and slant, but I see cons think over things much.more than the left does. The left continues its inane methods. When commenting on a given topic, the left extracts one small bit of the right's commentary, and uses that small piece to rebut the entire commentary. And they do it not only here, but on tv as well as other media outlets. They think the American.public is so stupid that their refusal to be relevant goes unnoticed.

For instance: look at the left's commentary on Israel's Prime Minister's speech yesterday and the childish way the left refused to attend, as if it were a scuffle in a grade school playground and the bully took his ball and went home. Bad mouthing his speech when the real front and center issue was their refusal to attend. House and Senate members are paid to do a job and attending congressional business is that job. Those who did not attend wete derilect in their duties. That is yesterday's real issue, not whether or not they agreed with the content of the speech.

And what is your point in showing a graph 6 years old? The original post here is about the current crime rate drop in Chicago since C. C. has become lawful.. Current, not years ago before C. C. was lawful.

And, just how are we to even pay attention to your information when it lists Chicago as 24 and 18, and Rockford twice also?

If you are goung to comment at least try making sense and using information that tends to be relevant.
