Craige McMillan is Frightened That John Boehner is Nation's 'Last Chance'

WND - February 28, 2015

Perhaps it is altogether fitting that America’s death spiral should be piloted by a collection of terrified old men, quaking from fear in their pajamas, as the nation spirals down into the graveyard of history.

The “greatest deliberative body in the world,” led by Harry Reid and his minority of 44 Democrats, successfully scuttled the huge Republican victory of 2014, in which we gave them 54 seats, and they gave us Mitch McConnell.

Perhaps you are like me and would have preferred nuclear annihilation while the nation stood for human freedom and dignity in the world? But it is not to be. Here’s why:

Institutionalized treason. What else can you call Hillary Clinton’s State Department, the B******i lies that began before our soldiers were even dead and the Clinton Foundation’s overflowing gifts from foreign governments so Hillary’s campaign coffin coffers could be filled to overflowing? Or maybe it’s a president who can’t decide if he’s Muslim or Christian, or whether the constitution is living or dead.

A forced indoctrination educational system run by the teachers’ unions, for the administrators, and let the parents and children be damned (which they now are). Three generations never learned that the Soviet Union collapsed because e******y of outcome can’t be produced. A dumbed down learning system created so the lazy can succeed poisons the economic well for future generations. Just ask the one still living at home with their parents after college. Looking after the less fortunate is the function of churches, religious good works and charitable foundations.

A Christian church that has grown tired of waiting for its betrothed’s return has no interest in the planned wedding, and now seeks its joy from union with the flesh, the devil and the world. But don’t take my word for it:

“I know you inside and out, and find little to my liking. You’re not cold, you’re not hot – far better to be either cold or hot! You’re stale. You’re stagnant. You make me want to vomit. You brag, ‘I’m rich, I’ve got it made, I need nothing from anyone,’ oblivious that in fact you’re a pitiful, blind beggar, threadbare and homeless.” – Revelation 3:17 (The Message)

Like Air France Flight 447 that encountered turbulence and disappeared six years ago, crashing into the Atlantic and k*****g all aboard, the crew we elected to give us safe passage through the turbulent storms of the next two years and fly us high over dark waters of the grave doesn’t know which end is up. America has an insane executive who believes he is no longer bound by the Constitution, simply because no adverse consequences attend to him for using that precious document as toilet paper. The Senate advises and concurs – promising to fund America’s destruction by our self-appointed king.

It is indeed frightening to think that John Boehner, as speaker of the House, is America’s last chance to escape the graveyard spiral, before the nation is buried in its own crater and we take the West to our grave with us. He has the power of the purse and can end the madness – but does he have the courage?

Regarding the inscription on the stone tablet to be placed above our grave, this little bit of history from an anonymous writer in The Pennsylvania Journal, December 1775, carried the day:

The rattlesnake also has sharp eyes, and “may therefore be esteemed an emblem of vigilance.” Furthermore,

“She never begins an attack, nor, when once engaged, ever surrenders: She is therefore an emblem of magnanimity and true courage. … she never wounds ’till she has generously given notice, even to her enemy, and cautioned him against the danger of treading on her.”

The markings on our tombstone will be divinely simple, and the inscriber once well-known to us. He brought America into the world, and I suppose as the attending physician at the end of her life it is most fitting that he see us out:

“Don’t Tread On Me.” – Jesus Christ

WHAT'S EVEN MORE CRUCIAL THAN RESTORING CONSTITUTION

Joshua Charles Says When We Reject God, Next Most Powerful Bidder Steps In

WND - Feb 28, 2015

A few years ago, I delivered a speech to several Tea Party groups around the country. Given the further degradation in our institutions, what was said seems even more relevant today:

In our time, everywhere you look, the Constitution has come under fire. In its July 4, 2011, issue, Time magazine’s cover had a picture of the Constitution being shredded and the title of the issue was “Does it still matter?” The Constitution has, for several decades now, been described as a “living document,” conveniently and insidiously implying that all who disagree with such a characterization believe that it is a “dead document.” Even more recently, one of the justices of the Supreme Court, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, told an Egyptian interviewer that she would not recommend the U.S. Constitution to them. It is the supreme law of the land, and yet it is not even taught from in the contemporary law school. The Federalist Papers are not required reading; civics education is in a decrepit state across the country, and most Americans cannot even pass the test that all legal immigrants to the United States must pass in order to attain their citizenship. The American Civic Literacy Program of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute has a test it uses to study the civics knowledge of the average American. In its 2008 test, the average test score was only 49 percent. Among college educators, it was only slightly better, 55 percent. Perhaps this explains why that e******n turned out how it did.

I would like to offer for your consideration a few thoughts on why the Constitution is important, as well as a way in which the importance it once held in our society can be regained, but much more importantly, why.

The first thought I would like to offer to you, assuming that, like myself, you hold the Constitution in high esteem, is that we must not allow the Constitution to become an idol. As wonderful as it is, as foundational as it is and as essential it is, we must not allow our honest and well-intended efforts to restore it inadvertently become an effort in which the idol of our age, namely the state, is simply replaced with another. For the fact of the matter is that the only way to truly restore the Constitution is not to idolize it, but to recognize the true source of its power, which is a derived power, not an inherent one.

The second thought I offer to you is directly related to the first. If we ought not idolize the Constitution, even when it is in its most perilous situation yet, why is this so? Because the Constitution is not the foundation of our rights and liberties; it is merely a reflection of the true foundation: the Creator spoken of in the Declaration of Independence. The foundation of this country is based on the idea that the light of liberty, like the light of the sun that bathes the earth, comes from God, and the Constitution, like the moon, finds its radiance in the light of this sun. So while the Constitution is important, it is important because of Him from whom it derives its radiance. If we forget this, then like the moon that reflects no light from the sun, the Constitution will simply become a black hole in the American sky, an object of immense power, but only the power to destroy.

This is exactly the situation we find ourselves in today. Every aspect of the decay of our culture, the destruction of our liberties and the descent of our government from the constitutional republic envisioned by the founders to the bureaucratic utopia of the statist, can be traced to our abject rejection of God. Even amongst those of us who claim to believe in and live our lives based on God, more often than not we find ourselves content with the dead letter of religion rather than the living reality of the Spirit, the outward appearance of religious convention rather than the radical t***sformation of the inner man. We have fallen for the lie that instead of beauty, it is in fact t***h that is in the eye of the beholder. And with the surrender of t***h, can we honestly be surprised that we are now being forced to surrender everything else? For if t***h is indeed in the eye of the beholder, then all of life becomes a ploy for who can garner unto himself the most power – and whoever wins defines “t***h.”

We have forgotten that freedom is worthless if its trustee cannot exercise, independent of any external coercion, self-government, for as Alexis de Tocqueville noted in “Democracy in America”: “How can those who have given up the habit of self-government successfully choose those who shall exercise it for them?” Freedom without self-government, freedom without a morality whose foundation is transcendent and untouched by shifting cultural norms and the zeitgeist merely becomes a means for the individual to act as destructively as he wishes. In other words, freedom with no basis in transcendent Virtue forges its own chains, and with God out of the picture, the only liberator becomes the state. Life, liberty, happiness, rights, freedom: All are now defined in purely human terms and are now seen to be dependent upon, and in some ways found, in the state. In other words, with our rejection of God and His t***h, all power has slowly, but most assuredly, been going to the next most powerful bidder: the state. The moon has become the sun, and we wonder why we live in a country increasingly cold to the t***hs upon which it staked its existence and in which it finds its greatness.

The great British historian Arnold Toynbee noted in his magisterial “A Study of History,” “Sooner or later, man has always had to decide whether he worships his own power, or the power of God.” The time has come for us to decide as individuals, and as a nation, “What ought we worship?” Or to be more precise, “Whom ought we worship?” Man will always worship something, and whether he acknowledges it as divine or not, its hold upon his soul will always have supernatural and eternal consequences, for good or for evil. In this perilous hour, we must not work to restore the Constitution in society so much as we must be restored by being connected and in relationship with our Creator. Any rightful restoration of the former will simply be bastardized and counterfeit without a true restoration of the latter.

As John Adams noted of the first American Revolution: “The Revolution was effected before the war commenced. The Revolution was in the minds and hearts of the people, a change in their religious sentiments of their duties and obligations.” From this pure fountain alone will we find the will and the ability to carry out another American Revolution, one whose consequences would be immensely more profound in this international and global age. The spectacle of a people who expect, and who know, that their liberty is found in God, not in the state, and not in nature; who have decided that the object most fit for their worship is not the created, but the Creator; a nation that is dedicated to the idea that men can never be equal, and man can never be free, unless he was created to be such, and thereby has an inheritance derived not from his fellow man, but from his God; a nation such as that would indeed be a sight to behold. It would be a “City on a Hill” to which the entire world would once again be drawn.

That is why the Constitution is important. Not because of what it is, but to Whom it points, and upon Whom it depends for its grandeur and timelessness. Checks and balances, separation of powers, federalism and all of the other essential features of the Constitution are based on the timeless t***hs of God’s laws and human nature, but they lose all meaning if the people over whom it operates are ignorant of their duties and obligations as free men and women in the sight of God. Freedom does not exist in a vacuum. It exists for a purpose, and that is to love God and to serve our fellow men as we ought. We recognize the importance of our Constitution, and are in a far greater position to defend it, only when we recognize that this t***h is of infinitely greater importance.

Unfortunately, Don, the loss of portions of our church-going Judeo-Christian patrons in America is the hand of the "earthly" forces who have been in "second" place since Archangel status a long, long time ago. "WE" are now being guided by the "blame America first" crowd, and although Alinsky chose Satan as [his] hero, the current OWS "radicals" have merged with Islam.

No longer is the vacuum unoccupied in American values, but as Iraq was sucked vacant of American forces, ISIS filled the void, on a parallel, Judeo-Christianity and OUR Constitution in America are being quietly overtaken by the proliferation of Islam and Sharia law; respectively.

Being decades behind the "m**************m" of England, France, Germany and Australia, to name a few, the quiet, peaceful attack of Islam is nearly in the second stage here in America, and Western Europe is now feeling the radical branch of Islam, beginning to force the peaceful process of primary "peaceful" attack to a much more forceful level.

And it's very easy to know Islam by the burning and broken, tortured, kidnapped and beheaded remains of the less radical branches of Islam and all non-Muslim peoples, precious artifacts and history, all across the Middle-East; but for Israel. The old anti-American, anti-Semitic SDSers and Islamic forces in the "new" America are trying to change all than now, and BiBi Netanyahu is [their] primary target.

Currently many of the top offices in American government, NGO's, Federal agencies, State offices, education, big business, military and police have been quietly and deceptively replaced by Johnson, O'Bama, O'Leary, Smith, O'Mally and Jones.

The Abdul Abba-al Qadda-bin-Farruk are only in the offices of CAIR, ISNA, MPAC, MSA and other organizations with obvious and direct Islamic threads; some ties are actually to Hamas, ISIS, al-Qaeda, Hezbollah, Palestine and Iran. WAKE-UP AMERICA!!!

I agree with all that you said, but you should make the solution more plain.
God made a covenant with Abraham, and his descendants, that include all mankind . In it he told what he would do, and what man should do. he promised to keep his end of the covenant, but if man broke his promise, he would delay his blessings, for many years.
His delay ended in 1802. The new land that God gave the Israel woke up! I can hear you shaking your head, but it's true.
In less than 200 years we went from no plumbing to walking on the moon, to the most powerful nation on earth! he fulfilled his promise,Israel did not, instead they said, "See how great we are".
So they are saying, "Get out of our schools and our lives".
Now God is saying ,now ,I will take it all away. That is exactly what is happening.
