Beating Back the Liberal Narrative

Commentary by George Rogers Clark

February 27, 2015

Control of the narrative. It is what liberals do best. Controlling the narrative is how they had enough deceived v**ers on their side to elect Barack Obama twice.

Did conservative v**ers (and Republican Party leadership) make mistakes in 2012? Yes they did. Still, a little over 51% v**ed for a man who had shown his true colors (and not red, white and blue) for four years. I also agree that it took many “low-information v**ers” to accomplish the feat. But it was accomplished. Perhaps we should try to understand and do something about the problem.

Do we blame the low-information v**ers? “Low-information” is not a term that means stupid. It means uninformed. People can be uninformed because they are lazy, but also because they are working two jobs and going to school. Some do not have much time.

Consider this thought; if a high number of v**ers are “low-information,” what information do you think they should have? I mean, if they are not going to consume and retain much information, what information would you want them to be fed? Would you want it to be that Republicans, conservatives, Christians and Tea Party types are r****t pigs who want to slash welfare and destroy the environment?

Do you want those v**ers to believe that Republicans are always guilty of partisan politics, while Democrats are not? When Republicans first questioned what really happened in B******i, Democrats said we were turning a tragedy into a “partisan issue.” The majority of American’s are still in the dark about B******i.

Do we want liberal Democrats to continue to win a majority of young v**ers and minorities?

I just heard someone say, “Hey, listen here Mister; they can’t get by with those kinds of lies.”

Really, they have been telling that tale for decades and getting by with it much of the time. However, if we understand how they do it, we do not have to take the bait.

Let’s look at one example; partisan politics.

Carly Fiorini was at the CPAC convention. Greta Van Susteren from Fox interviewed her via Skype. The subject turned to Netanyahu’s planned visit and talk with Congress.

By now, many Americans know that Democrats, from the *President on down, are snubbing Netanyahu and many will not be present in Congress on the day of his address.

Democrats are saying that Republicans have made a partisan issue of it because the Speaker of the House invited Netanyahu without first going through Obama. Republicans have said that Congress has the authority to hear from leaders of foreign nations and that Democrats are making a partisan issue of it by planning their absence for the Netanyahu address.

That is the backstory. Carly Fiorini told Greta (and you and I) that everyone knows that Netanyahu will appeal to the U.S. to stop negotiating a nuclear agreement with Iran. (Iran has repeatedly said for decades that they Carly Fiorini Book Cover intend to wipe Israel off the face of the Earth.) Fiorini said for that reason, it is not a partisan issue. It is a national security issue.

BOOM! Direct hit. Target destroyed.

Do you see it? Let’s break it down.

If they say something first and all you can respond with is, “He started it,” you have taken the bait. They set the narrative, and then the Republicans tried to respond to their narrative, giving the Dems the ownership, or control of the narrative.

To win, we (Republicans, conservatives, Tea Party, and Christians) must set the narrative first, or if they have set it, change the narrative rather than just react to their FALSE narrative.

Carly Fiorini’s example: It is not a partisan issue. It is a National Security issue.

Well, darn it; it really is a National Security issue. Iran developing a bomb is a very serious National Security issue. Why would we let the liberals call it a partisan issue? We know that many people already think that we are usually guilty of partisan politics.

We cannot control the narrative by allowing the other party to establish what the narrative is. We should establish the narrative first, but when they set it, we must change it. We must ACT, not just REACT.

Why did Republicans respond with statements that they had authority to do what they did? Low-information v**ers do not know anything about constitutional authority and do not care. That response does not even register with them. But they know what “partisan politics” means. They have been taught that Republicans are usually guilty of it. “Can't we all just get along?”

There are far more low-information v**ers than well-John boehner
informed v**ers.

Here is what John Boehner, Speaker of the House, should have been saying from the start.

In the interest of national security, I have decided to invite Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel to address a joint session of Congress. The Prime Minister has accepted.

Israel is America’s only reliable ally in the Middle East. Members of Congress have grave concerns about the National Security aspects of allowing Iran to continue their quest for a nuclear weapons capacity. Israel has even greater concerns since they will be the first target of a nuclear Iran.

We welcome the Prime Minister’s upcoming visit and address. We sincerely hope that the President and Democratic leaders will join us in welcoming Benjamin Netanyahu, because National Security is never a partisan issue. We must work together to keep America and all Americans safe.

You see, liberals never have substantive arguments. Rarely can they win hearts and minds with logic and reason. The liberal worldview is not logical. No reasonable person, given the facts, would reason it to be logical.

Let me give you an example of my “logic and reason” argument.

First, here is the liberal view.

A well-governed society operating on principles of socialism and re-distribution of wealth can create a democratic Utopia wherein every citizen will be better off.

Capitalism as an economic system, and government in the form of a republic are mechanisms for the rich to get richer and the poor to remain ens***ed.

See the little “narrative hooks?” Something is not true just because someone says it repeatedly.

Here are some reasonable responses.

Was Robin Hood anything more than a fable? Let’s say he was real.

Robin Hood did not Steal from the Rich and give to the poor.

Robin Hood took back from Prince John, the corrupt Sheriff and his tax collectors (not the rich in general) the excessive and unjust tax monies that were taken from the people to start with.

Robin Hood did not tax everyone out of everything (not even with a healthcare scheme) and redistribute it.

Lies, even those extrapolated from fables, are still just lies.

Lies lose their energy when exposed to the LIGHT of T***H.

Every real-life attempt at socialism has failed miserably. A small number of top government leaders (and some hammer and sickle banks) always end up with all the wealth. The people always remain ens***ed and the nation always remains in debt it can never escape. The “e******y” of socialism is a false promise. Everyone ends up equally oppressed.

Capitalism (when not overly regulated by over-reaching government) provides an environment in which individual creativity and initiative can be rewarded by a free market. An individual’s small business can grow, prosper, and become a large, publicly owned corporation. It can create a return on investment for the public stockholders and many new jobs for the labor market.

All human efforts to create Utopia and discover some pure democracy are secular. That is why I always say that a person cannot be a liberal and a Christian at the same time.

If they were not secular humanists, they would read the Bible and see that man’s Utopian dreams are all results of being deceived by Satan’s worst lie; “Ye shall be as gods.” “Utopia” is not man’s business. It is GOD’S.

“Liberal” is an illogical, unreasonable ideology. It is a path to a nation’s destruction. It is not based on GOD and COUNTRY principles. It is based on selfish, human motives on one hand, and false, Godless, man-made dreams and schemes on the other hand.

Secular-liberal-socialists have no arguments of substance. Let’s not let them win arguments by controlling the narrative.

The next time Hillary Clinton lies about B******i, I want some Republican leader to look her in the eye and change the narrative.

“Ms. Clinton, do you believe GOD is the only moral authority?”

We must be salt and light on GOD’S terms – not our terms – not liberal terms. We must be bold.

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy GOD: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. (Isaiah 41:10)

President G.W. Bush Said It Best For Me, You're Ei... (show quote)

Embarrassment is an emotional state of intense discomfort experienced upon having a socially unacceptable act or condition witnessed by other people. Over the course of the past few years there has been no greater national embarrassment than the unacceptable actions of Republicans in Congress; particularly Speaker of the House John A. Boehner. The problem with Boehner is that he is so accustomed to lying and making a laughingstock of himself, that he is likely unaware that he embarrasses himself, and America, whenever he opens his mouth.

Boehner outdid himself this week when he threw a childish fit due to President Obama’s veto of the unconstitutional Republican legislation approving a permit for construction of a Canadian corporation’s Keystone tar sand pipeline. Now, Boehner has been lying through his teeth about all aspects of the pipeline to benefit himself, a foreign nation, the oil industry, and a foreign corporation. However, he reached a new low when he said the President’s veto was a “national embarrassment” and not in “America’s national interest” by comparing America with China and Russia’s pipeline projects.

Boehner said, “The president’s veto of the Keystone jobs bill is a national embarrassment. It’s embarrassing when Russia and China are plowing ahead on two massive pipelines and we can’t get this one no-brainer of a project off the ground. He’s too invested in left-fringe politics to do what presidents are called on to do, and that’s put the national interest first.” Seriously, Boehner said “no-brainer, left-fringe politics, and national interest” all at once in comparing America with China and Russia; it begs a couple of questions Boehner likely cannot and will not answer.

The first question that comes to mind and one Boehner will not answer without more lies is; whose national interests is it in to build the Keystone pipeline? The second question is; what in dog’s name does left-fringe politics have to do with not putting a foreign nation and foreign corporation’s interests above those of America’s? And, does Boehner know anything whatsoever about the Chinese and Russian governments to dare compare them to America without sounding like a raving lunatic?
