Being a retired Police Officer it really embarrasses me that these officers in the State of New York were so brutal & unforgiving.

There is too much of it now. I don't know if it is just that it is recorded on cell phones now, or if it has gotten that much worse. It is not just the minorities getting brutalized these days. I spent a few years as a cop, when I was young and invinceable.
I have several retired law enforcement friends and they have all been in situations were one of their own starts to lose it. Christ they are human. Of course that will happen, but rarely.
I have seen examples of almost mob violence captured on tape. Very disheartening but very rare. Very rare !! Was witness to one myself and could quote the case but to what ends. Facts are, people are people. Cops to. I'm not saying this to get them a bye. That would be wrong. All I'm saying is don't count the entire barrel as being rotten.
Thats all
As for these people, they'll pay the bill.

Well Moldy. The reason for the uptick in reported instances is that everyone has a potential newsreel on their hip.
