AlfonZo Rachel looks at the recent allegations of MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell regarding Republicans.

Zo thinks that O'Donnell is just playing a shell game with words, and that he ignores the fact that Democrats were the defenders of s***ery and segregation.

Think the Democrats were the leaders of the Suffragette movement? Think again.

Perhaps they have something like subliminal thoughts of returning to being salves again. As with other races, there is a mentality in some that desire to be abused. The feeling of being unworthy as those around them. I'm just guessing of course. Maybe someone has more insight than I. More than likely there is.

your history lesson is fine but outdated, as it is the conservative republicans that have put on the mantle of race suppression, so yes the democrats have been guilty of all you say but but the conservative republicans have supplanted the democrats (dixiecrats) , it isn't the democrats the are leading the charge for v**er suppression , nor is it the democrats trying to turn women into second class citizens , these are just two of the main topics of conservative republican idiocy there are a multitude of other topics that need airing but those two are the main ones

Since when is requiring ID and proof of citizenship "suppression?" The claims that this alleged "suppression" affect mostly poor black, elderly, and recent immigrants are spurious, and misleading. Most of these groups supposedly affected receive government benefits for which they have to show the same ID and proof. Why can they not produce it at the polls, also?

I differ with it being outdated. Conservatives’ justification for the new restrictions on v****g rights is that they are necessary to head off v***r f***d. Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus underscored this argument, claiming that non-profit v**er organizations like ACORN submitted 400,000 fraudulent registrations in 2008.

This zeal to restrict v****g rights in the name of preventing fraud was also evident in Maine last month, where the state Republican Party Chairman Charlie Webster drew up a list of 206 University of Maine students with out-of-state home addresses and accused them of v***r f***d.

I am unsure of the numbers, but Acorn was indicted and had some convictions regarding v***r f***d. While numbers vary, the vast majority of v***r f***d accusations AND convictions fall on the Democrats. This is not some sort of prejudiced cherry picking, but historical fact.

Did you forget to check out on the three Democrats in Illinois who are doing prison time now for b****t stuffing. These three were Obama's campaign managers in that state. Don't even mention to us about anything the Republicans do or did until you come to grips with Obama's fraudulent issues. Like Fast and Furious etc. etc. and Pelosi's pass it now and we can correct it later statement. Get an education.

Conservative Republicans have not supplanted the democrats if you know what the word "supplanted" means. Republicans and Democrats are elected by the v**ers. Republicans wanting proof of identity and trying to insure that someone if eligible to v**e (not to mention only v**e once) is not v**er suppression but v**er empowerment. Legal v**ers would be proud to show ID when exercising their Constitutional right to v**e.
Conservatives are NOT trying to "turn women into second class citizens" just because we don't want to pay for their birth control or a******ns. That "women into second class citizen" crap is merely a mantra developed by democrats to entice "low information" v**ers to drink the liberal Kool-Aid.
As usual, dems figure if they say something enough times, people will believe it. Same old liberal/prog playbook!

Agree. Let me make this clear, "I AM A CONSTITUTIONALIST" conservative. I v**e GOP (a little disconcerted now with them)!!! The 13/14/15th Admendments would not be law had it not been for the GOP. I merely posted a question and a video which points to reasons why most b****s v**e democrat. I have been labled as a Democrat (liberal). Cascades of nefarious bill of goods has been sold to them since LBJ took office. Welfare with stipulations; leaving most homes with single parents, hence dysfuntional environments. I abhor the Liberal and some R.I.N.O.'s "Demagoguery".

Look no further than the post on this forum titled " How Democrats Exploit Minorities" this gives a good insight into democrat politics as well as Illinois type politics. The democrat party has no intention of ever helping the minorities out of the ghetto they want to keep them as s***es on the government farm of no return. The true Uncle Toms are the democrat congressman and senator who exploits his own people for his gain.

I get it. I agree you have been misrepresented, perhaps misinterpreted is more accurate. Your statement regarding LBJ is correct. I await a comment on my position, which states that claims of "disenfranchisement" of certain groups are spurious and misleading. I repeat, since most of these groups receive government entitlements, for which they must show ID and proof of citizenship, how can it possibly be discriminatory to ask them to show the same documents at the polls? How is that "disenfranchisement?" It is not, it is nothing more than another Liberal buzzword for "we need illegal v**es."

I noticed that women in the Obama White House get paid less than men doing the same job. The Comrade and Moochelle are somewhat selective with their sense of fairness. I have no idea what is meant by "second class citizens."
