Why do we allow people like Obama to run for office when they legally hide all potentially damaging history. That's crazy. Obama partied with Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dorhn last summer

President Obama attended the wedding last summer of MSNBC talking head Alex Wagner and the former White House chef, Sam Kass. This was no secret at the time and didn't raise an eyebrow from anyone.

Now Gawker has learend that also attending the wedding was that "guy from the neighborhood" - unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers and his wife Bernardine Dorhn. Wouldn't you love to have been a fly on the wall at that party...?

On Aug. 30, 2014, MSNBC anchor Alex Wagner and former White House chef Sam Kass got married at a private wedding north of New York City. It was widely reported at the time that President Obama, a longtime friend of the g***m, attended the ceremony with his family. There were two other notable guests, however, whose attendance has been successfully kept secret: Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, the former campus radicals whose loose association with the Obama family over the years has inspired countless Fox News fever-dreams and led to Sarah Palin’s famous accusation that Obama “pal[s] around with terrorists.”

We recently heard that Ayers and Dohrn, both former leaders of the Weather Underground, the militant left-wing group best known for bombing empty government buildings in the 1970s, were also present for the Wagner-Kass celebration at the Blue Hill at Stone Barns, a restaurant and event space in Pocantico Hills, New York.

While the fact that Obama was literally partying with former advocates of violent struggle against the U.S. government will no doubt be taken by his critics as further evidence that he h**es America, the most interesting thing about the wedding is the shocking proof it offers that—at long last!—Obama truly no longer gives a f**k about keeping up political appearances. It’s unthinkable that the Obama of the 2008 or 2012 campaigns would have been permitted to go anywhere near Ayers or Dohrn, for fear of fueling the unhinged right-wing narrative that he is a radical l*****t.

"Unhinged"? Sure - we Americans love our presidents to be yucking it up with bomb builders who blew up "empty buildings" and planned to blow up unempty military dances. That plan went slightly awry when the explosive device went off a little early and k**led the three terrorists building it.

Oh - and about those "empty buildings"? Ayers admitted that the bomb that detonated prematurely was intended to k**l military personnel at a Fort Dix dance.

That bomb had been intended for detonation at a dance that was to be attended by army soldiers at Fort Dix, New Jersey. Hundreds of lives could have been lost had the plan been successfully executed. Ayers attested that the bomb would have done serious damage, “tearing through windows and walls and, yes, people too.”

In fact, Ayers was a founder of the Weatherman terror group and he defined its purpose as carrying out murder. Again, from Discover the Networks:

Characterizing Weatherman as “an American Red Army,” Ayers summed up the organization’s ideology as follows: “K**l all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, K**l your parents.”

Such a pleasant conversationalist.


No matter. Ayers wanted to k**l people and failed. We all know that if a Republican had been caught befriending a Kluxer, he would have been driven out of politics on a rail.

But Gawker makes a valid larger point. As Michael Walsh points out, "the mask is coming off." Allahpundit agrees:

Gawker’s precisely right about the takeaway from this. In ways very, very large (ahem) and very, very small (ahem), Obama’s entered the WGAF stage of his presidency. There’s no way he’d have chanced encountering Ayers when his own ass was on the line e*******lly in 2008 and 2012; I’m amazed, actually, that he’d have chanced it last summer with the midterms just months away and Democrats desperate not to be hit with more bad news. But then Obama’s always cared much more about Barack Obama’s political viability than he has about the Democratic Party’s. In fact, the news about him running into Ayers last year is a bit like Axelrod admitting that O privately supported gay marriage in 2008 even while he was telling v**ers otherwise. In both cases, O was willing to show his true feelings only after he’d calculated that the political risk to him had dissipated. With gay marriage, that meant lying about his faith; with Ayers, it meant pretending that “palling around” with a terrorist was an innocent mistake he’d made in the past, an artifact of moving in similar social circles in Chicago.

Another motive for Obama to let his real face be revealed is that he knows it drives his opponents nuts. So in a way, we are entertaining the president as we sputter and rage about his politics and his associations.

But someone has to make a record. And since the media won't, the job falls to us. It may be playing into Obama's hands, but by maintaining silence, we enable both the media and the president to continue the myth building and cover up of how truly radical this president is.

I studied up on Barry and knew who he was before he was ever elected. So many v**ers do not take the trouble to become informed and so many only get their news from left wing media.
