Evil genius, something to be cultivated.

Absolutely. I must try that sometime. We do get some strange and very annoying callers on occasion, will try this next time.

My Bear looks like that. They could be brothers - except, my Bear has one small purple circle on his tongue. He usually looks like he's smiling, or his beautiful, expressive eyes are pleading with me for a walk, attention, or food. It IS my fault he's fat, now I suffer - he's on a diet.

Those eyes, they just pull you right in, don't they. You find yourself saying "yes" but shaking your head "no" and many times absolutely knowing you should not be saying "yes".

When you look in their eyes, you become a patsy for what they want. Having a dog with character makes it worth the trouble though.

My daughter has a dumb dog, and it's really pitiful. I feel sorry for her, so I will take the time to pet her a little.

I've always had dogs with character, not a dull one in the lot!! That's what makes it such a fun adventure. I haven't figured out whether they wear off on me or vice versa!! We won't discuss my husband's viewpoint is in that regard.

Guessing that's why I am truly missing my Sunny, only 4-years-old, when she left us rather abruptly last week. Morgan Red and Promise don't miss her, very jealous dogs they are. Guess somehow they sensed she had a special place in my heart. All my dogs have had a place reserved in my heart, but for some reason, there are those that touch you in a way that you just can't quite put your finger on. I'm betting you're familiar with that feeling.

I think that special one is my Bear, character, intelligence, and independent - my kind of dog.

Her dog is a mix between those that always have a bit of their tongue sticking out, and something else. Because I am not too fond of her, or lap dogs in general, I never pay attention to the other part.
