Rep. Bernie Sanders wants Congress to spend $1T over five years for infrastructure:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/dr-gridlock/wp/2015/01/27/bernie-sanders-wants-to-spend-1-trillion-on-infrastruture/

Sanders is being advised by his economist: Dr. Stephanie Kelton, Chair of the UMKC economics department.

But the deficit hawks will scream bloody murder. DEBT! DEBT! DEBT!

Forget borrowing. Print the money. About $2 daily per adult. Maybe enough for a large black coffee at Starbucks . Not enough to need a wheelbarrow to haul your cash. So, please, none of that inflation BS.

Marvin-have to agree that spending for infrastructure would be a wise move both for safety and the economy. I would prefer that to more give away programs. Good Luck America !!!

When the federal gummint spends $1T over five years, the average adult will see about $2 daily more than now. The 1% will skim off about $1, leaving the rest of us a buck or less.

I still am curious. How much weed could I get for one dollar? Or does that amount of money make any sense when buying weed?

That all depends on the quality. Interesting fact about weed. The original pot that people smoked would be called ditch weed by today's standards. The stuff we have now is about 50 times more potent.

OK, let's get specific. If ditch weed is available, how much would a dollar buy. Figure it out per puff, if possible. Assume black market prices.

Does the potent stuff cost 50 times the ditch weed?

Another question, why would anyone buy weed when you can keep a few flower pots around?

Youth is too precious to be wasted on the young.

Want to know why this is dead in the water?

His party no longer controls congress. The Republicans do.
