Gaza: Number of children k**led higher than from four years of world conflict

"...the latest Gaza health authority data indicating that at least 12,300 youngsters have died in the enclave in the last four months, compared with 12,193 globally between 2019 and 2022."
That's about 11 dead Palestinian children for every Israeli k**led in the Oct. 7 attack that Bibi Netanyahu allowed to continue without intervention for several hours that day last fall.

Amid reports of fresh Israeli airstrikes in Gaza overnight into Wednesday, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) said that more children have been k**led there in recent months than in four years of conflict worldwide.

“This war is a war on children. It is a war on their childhood and their future,” said UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini.

Writing on X, formerly Twitter, late on Tuesday, the UNRWA chief reiterated repeated international calls for an immediate ceasefire in the enclave, where intense Israeli bombardment in response to Hamas-led terror attacks in Israel on 7 October has levelled entire neighbourhoods.

To date, more than 31,184 Palestinians have been k**led and 72,889 injured, according to the local health authorities. As of 12 March, 247 Israeli soldiers have been k**led in Gaza with 1,475 injured since the start of the ground operation, Israeli army data shows.

I saw the headline. I've also seen the same headlines, pictures and news reports about Gaza that students across the US have seen over the last months - from reporters that Israel initially kept out of Gaza.

Piles of rubble for miles where peoples' homes once stood.

Burial trenches filled with the victims of the bombing campaigns.

Dead women holding their dead children.

Dead babies - not or two or 4 or 16 cells clumped together but actual little people who had been alive, before slowly starving to death due to Bibi's refusal to let in any aid trucks with food that might have kept them alive. The IDF even bombed the food trucks of the respected "World Central Kitchen.".

I think most of us sympathized with the people of Israel for the first days after Hamas attacked. The students now protesting against Israel and Z*****ts likely used to be sumpathetic. But after more than 6 months of almost constant bombing by the Israelis, the k*****g of tens of thousands of defenseless people and starvation of thousands more...

Many people around the world no longer see it what Netanyahu is doing as anything but genocide.

I don't condone destruction by the student protestors, but I do understand their anger.
