Which course will our overlords take?
Inflate the debt away through inflation
(Money printing)
Or raise interest rates and create a recession or depression?
I believe they will fire up the presses.

You can't inflate the debt away if you increase the spending/debt by government faster than the rate of inflation. Sooner or later the the price via recession or depression will be paid by the people's suffering. The longer the inevitable is postponed the worse the pain will be.

It's not the government spending per se that concerns me. It's the people in government doing the spending that does. Never underestimate the power of government bureaucrats and politicians to screw things up.
